Love Takata green. Interesting on the brake pads too. I figured some sort of Ford pad would work. As of yet there are NO aftermarket pads readily available here in the states for the 2.

There are sport brake pads by Autoexe,Project μ,Dixcel etc. These are indeed hard to find and I decided to buy a pair by the Pumaspeed eshop from Uk.
I havent tested them yet,I'll write a review after I do so.

This is not true, I'm running Porterfield R4S in the front. I put them on 2,000 miles in :) (sorry for going off topic!)

EBC has aftermarket brakepats. I have the EBC blackstuff. A bit better than originals ...

@vds: Nice updates!

Seat belts fitted.I can use the Takata harness or the stock seat belt, they are both functional.

Feeling while cornering is great, car control is easier and the driver can concentrate on driving rather than strugling to stay on the seat.

The weight of the car as it is today.

Without the driver

With me inside.

Overall weight is ok but I need to do some suspension tuning on order to achive better weight distribution with me inside.

What have you removed from the car??a/c??
963 is a very good number,well done!!

My car is lightened about 40-45kgr(rims,rear seat's back, driver seat, emergency wheel) and had about 25ltr of fuel in the tank.

only remove seat's (only driver seat in the car) emergency wheels, stereo and had about 1/4 of fuel tank

I also believe that my country comes a Mazda 2 with less extras making it a little lighter

I did some testing with a performance box.

0-100kmh - 8.95s
0-400m - 16.45s @134.9kmh

I had a lot of wheelspin because of worn tyres and did only one test because of worn clutch. But anyway I think it's good! :O)

Today we made a diy front lower brace with a steel tube.
I don't know if it will make any difference but anyway on monday i'll attend a trackday so it will be tested there.
It looks like this and it costs nothing..(greece is in crisis, remember?(loser))

Hi VDS,

Don't want to sound negative, but there's something you might want to look at. If the shoulder straps are mounted too low in the back, people have experienced compression of the spine in a frontal accident.

I don't have the specifics of the best location.
