So will it just be Mr & Mrs Timko, Marlon, Laurie, Jenny, and I doing the lunch/dinner, spillway, winery thing? Not that it will be a bad thing, I'm just wondering. BTW I found a Youtube vid of the Carp at the spillway, that is some crazy stuff! We will bring some bread!

i was gonna say, don't forget PHEN!! drove out to Presque Isle Downs last night and came home a winnah!! we'll be taking moms to the airport about 11am and then head out east once again shortly after ... see y'all about 1pm.

Cara and I are gonna be out on this one. I'll definitely make a contribution so I'll talk to Phen sometime today or tomorrow about it. You guys all have fun.

A huge thank you to Larry and Jenny, and Marlon and Lauri for spending their Saturday to the middle of nowhere for this dinner. I know that it means a lot to the family for doing thath. I had a lot of fun yesterday and I wish that the winery was a lot closer to us. That place was really cool, and the music was awesome.

Really. Thanks for everyone that came for the day. Unfortunately the weather sucked, but we dropped our tops nonetheless. Until it rained. But I wish I could have introduced everyone to everyone, to show our great family to our friends and our great friends to our family. Unfortunately the winery will close for the season at the end of Oct. So we will have to think about a "bridge run" by then.
To Larry and Jenny, It was nice to spend time with you two. I hope you got some chuckles with our steel mill stories.

Hey guys we had a blast. The circumstances... well you know. The dinner was nice, and a good turn out. Jen and I were both fighting tears as your sisters/aunts friend was speaking to Hannah. I succeeded Jen did not, the waterworks were in full effect. She has to deal with domestic violence pretty often at work, but never to that degree (knocks on wood). The winery was awesome. Even though I am not a fan of wine, the atmosphere and the company were great. The spillway, what can I say except holy s***. That was the craziest thing I have seen in quite a while. Again, we had a lot of fun and look forward to hanging out soon-ish.

I miss hearing the old mill stories from Greg and Dad. Haven't heard too many of them for quite some time.

I'm going to try to post up some of the pics I took from the spillway. Uploading to Flickr from my phone here at work is a total pain in the butt because the signal is pretty crappy. The pictures end up all funky.

Great event for the wrong reason, nice to meet the "other Timko's" and nice time at the winery. Looks like they raised a lot of money for Hannah, she derserves it and glad she won the 50/50. I think the girl is destined to be something special in life.

I thought about that, after the fact, as usual ... but i did ask Phen who some people were, so i at least SAW your sis's and brother ... and some of phen's cousins ... unfortunately even after ALL THOSE TICKETS (lol) i didn't win anything, not even the sexy woman/dirty kitchen sign i wanted : ( but i feel good that all my casino winnings went to a good cause. : D

sorry we missed the spillway! and yeah, Lago was GREAT for many reasons!!!
