Dodgeville to Mt. Horeb- The fall cruise to the Grumpy Troll October 8 or 9

6Crew guys are wanting to do a cruise from north side of Dodgeville, WI, cruise north toward Spring Green and Taliesin, back southeast toward US 18, back north and then south to Mt Horeb where we end up at the Grumpy Troll. I figured you guys might be interested too, it's a all-makes, all models event. Final date has yet to be determined.

Still need a place for us all to meet in Dodgeville, but that's no big deal. We'll be starting off from the intersection of YZ and Z, heading north on Z toward Taliesin to T, then back south on T to Barneveld. From there we'll head a little east on ID (old 18/151) to K, north on K to HH, then north to Knight Hollow Rd. From there we'll head east to K, south to KK and south again to F which will take us into Blue Mounds. We'll turn east on Cave of the Mounds Rd and perhaps stop at Cave of the Mounds. Supposed to be pretty cool. Input appreciated. From there, we'll take ID east to JG, north to Little Norway (historic, interest) and follow JG back around and south again through Stewart County Park and then to Mt. Horeb. Bus 18/151/78 will take us east to 2nd St, where we will find the Grumpy Troll http://www.thegrumpytroll.com/ . How's that?

Sounds good, Sunday works for me. There are some fantastic roads out there.
 
Hey, meciboy, you should check in to the random chat thread and the members thread. Where abouts in Waukesha are you?
 
Where do you guys want to meet? Does the park and ride off 94 and TT in Waukesha work?

Thats the park and ride on TT and 94 right?

I wouldn't involve Stance WI. I'm not sure you'll find any other Mazdas there.

It's all makes/models, although I've yet to say anything to them. Sam is getting a separate cruise with Stance going I think. Have fun Jay.

Yes to TT and 94, right by Country Springs.
 
LOL. I'm still around, just not on forums much. My wife has a Mazda 3... I have something else fun ;) but not Mazda. My MP3 is still around, owned by a guy down in the Janesville area. I believe it is still running which is amazing considering the guy that bought it. I'm supposed to do some Diabetes fundraiser thing this Sunday, and I try to do Cars and Coffee which is also Sunday morning, but I may be able to get out for this so I figured I'd watch it and see if I can make it.

I've always wanted to get to a cars and coffee meet, just never have. Maybe some day, or even sunday...?
 
im down if the brewers arent playing at home that day, cuz if they are im goin to the game! also depends on the time of the game that day either way.......

yep, Still alive... :) I live on the South side of Madison now (by the Target on PD), not Mount Horeb any more.

I'm trying to sort out my Sunday schedule because right now it looks like: 8:00-9:30 Cars and Coffee (at Barriques on PD usually is more 8:30 to 10:30, but I'm trying to do the early part), 9:30-noon Diabetes Walk: 12:30-??? lunch at the Troll with you guys? That is what I'm trying to work out right now. Hoping I can make it all fit!
