Once I receive my extra gauge cluster LEDs, I'm going to go back in and shorten the ground wires as much as possible to try to eliminate the noise.

Visited my P5 the other day and analyzed what it's going to take to get it back on the road.
Alternator belt (again)
Rear calipers are seized (again)
Pads in the rear are metal on metal on one side (again)
The newer tires that I put on a couple months ago are all chewed up, and at the wear indicators already. So... going out on a limb to say it needs another alignment.
The car has 171k on it. I do believe it's met the end of the road.

I was talking more about me snagging a thing or 2 before junking it, i don't care about anyone else. LOL There's already several p5 partout threads on here, I don't think there needs to be another.

That's a beautiful road!
I know this was your first try with those cameras but I think you need a better microphone, the sound isn't very clear...
I doubt you will, it wouldn't be very hard to get that thing running again

Yes, I took the audio only from the Top mounted camera.
I'm going to attach a microphone inside the dash next time to collect the sound without the wind noise.
As of now, the biggest thing I need is the passanger side lower engine shield. I don't want all my junk to be exposed all winter long!
I'd have to do a walk around my car to see if there's anything else I have to have. As of now, that's all that's coming to me.

Awesome videos and an amazing car you have built. So the whining is the straight cut gears in the transmission? That would drive me crazy!

Exactly Yes ... The type of gears make the car sound like reverse in 1-5
It's not that bad.
Some people use 1,2,3,4 in straight cut, then have a normal 5th fro driving..
Considering that I don't have a radio/cd in the car, it gives me something to listen to...
I'm going to do up some more tonight.. you will see the types or roads that we have here where I live...

Mazda sells those for $25 iirc, you should get a new one instead of a dried-up old one.

Mine's not dried up... It's coated in oil from when the oil pan rusted thru...

If you do ever end up parting out your car, I'd be interested in a rear ABS sensor and possibly the front steering knuckles...
