Torqued Racing is having an HPDE lapping day on Oct 2, price for entry is $160. here's the linky

Great place to get a start of just keep practicing

lol, when you take a look at the google imagery, there's a bike race going on! nice!

I am in. I will be signing up some time next week I want to see what the weather is going to be like.

Also, who's rules do we follow for this event? There's a set of rules on this page, then there's BeaveRun's rules on their page?

Same for Mid-Ohio, brotha. Early mornings for track days indeed.

I'm leaning towards this date moreso than the 28th because the later we go into winter the crappier it will probably be. But I didn't realize October 2nd is so close!

With my anxiety there's never enough prep time. Haha

There's only 60 slots available so we need to sign up soon...

We are pleased to announce registration is open for our first BeaveRun HPDE Track Day.

We do 20 minute sessions for each group starting at 9am. You will get 3 sessions before lunch (1 hour of track time) then after lunch you will get an additional 3 sessions (1 hour track time). Then we call open track from 4 – 5pm. You don’t want to pass this up!

Please don’t hesitate this event is filling up quick!

Sounds like A LOT of track time for $160!!!

And as of now, there's only 5-6 people who've registered already.

Also, who's rules do we follow for this event? There's a set of rules on this page, then there's BeaveRun's rules on their page?
the rules of the club that is renting the track are usually followed since they are renting the track and there insurance covers the event. Most people are probably waiting to see what the weather is going to do I will signup sometime early next week if it isn't going to be a total washout. I ran with this group before they are very layed back and out to have fun.

Hey guys! This is Shawn, I'm the owner of Torqued Racing. I look forward to meeting you guys at the track. I think some of you attended our Nelson Ledges track day either back in June or October of last year. As one of the guys mentioned our events are very laid back. You get over 2.0 hours of track time. I know most people wait until the week before to register because of the weather. I will say this. I run in B group at all my events. Our last event at Putnam Park, a lot of drivers didn't register because there was a 50% chance of rain. Our first session on the track it was very slick. I learned a great deal about driving at speeds under wet conditions. Then by the 2nd morning session (10am) the track was fairly dry due to cars being on track and drying it out. It even rained/ drizzled a few times during the rest of the day but the track stayed dry for the most part due to back to back sessions/cars being on track. Everyone was still able to push and enjoy themselves even though the weather wasn't the best.

Please keep this in mind when your considering registering for our event. Also we normally hire freelance photographers so we can offer photos of you on track, at no charge! Check out our gallery from our last event.

Thanks for considering coming out to our events!

Looks like the deadline to register online for this is tomorrow at 8pm. I don't know if you can still register after this deadline, and if you can, if it's at a higher price. I sent Shawn an email, waiting for a reply.
