^Hahahaha, you fix things like I do. Broken? Might as well mod.
Haha, not completely off header. The donut flange gasket is missing. Hence the sound lol. Get the new gasket in tomorrow along with the CAI, Because stock intake tube was cracked, which will be installed tomorrow. Get back to being quite again. But yeah sounds like garbage!
Was going to swap my axleback, but the hardware was rusted to all hell..did any oil change though, it's been a while.
One of the biggest reasons I went with the SLS midpipe wasnt just because it was catless and 2.75inchesbut because it comes with a flex portion where it connects to the header. I could never get a perfect fit with the stock midpipe and header and always had loud exhaust leak from the doughnut gasket not sealing properly. The flex pipe on the SLS midpipe fixed that perfectly
Doesn't this elimante the rear cat as well, or did you opt for the high flow cat?
Didn't really do anything to my p5.. but made the old chargespeed splitter I had fit on my buddy's mazda3 look's sick.
As if it needs to be said.... PICS or GTFO!!1!

Im pretty sure the conical one is the only one to be used...
Then I *used* some high temp RTV silcone sealant for good measure.
So last night after meeting my wife in town for dinner, I went back to the car to go home. Started the car, and the rpm came up (just like a normal start up) but as the RPM went downit would just die out. But if I start it an rev the engine the car would stay on.
After letting the car sit for 10 mins I tried starting it again. This time Idle was at what seemed to be 100-200 rpm. And it didn't fluctuate. So I tried to make the trek home. Only that if I hit a stop light I had to keep the RPMs up to keep it from dieing out.
This is the second time this has happend. The only thing that would make sense is heatsoak.
This is an intermittent problem. off hand the car
Drives normally.
