Funkalicious21's Protege5 Build/Progress Thread~!

Haha very true about blowing smoke out near a cop, oink oink. I'm boosting soon too and I'm looking at my options for an exahust as well. Will going 3" in the midpipe sacrifice low end but gain top end?

Going 3" midpipe should probably help low and top. The larger piping allows more air flow and less restriction compared to the stock pipe.

i think its fun to blow smoke by cops, well if you can do so without speeding. its a fun time.

Hahah...that would be nice, but I live in California where that can lead to things that aren't so fun =P.

hi i was looking at the stance thread and love ur car looks amazing and i was wondering how much camber u run with the 17x9 with the +35 offset cause i wanted to get some wheels that wide

realy dam how much of a stretch though like 205/40 cause thats the stretch i wanted to do and how much camber would i get in the back ??

I have lots of updates guys! I have lots of pictures Of the progress I made today. Definitely looking forward to eating from all the people who still follow my thread.

As for the 17x9. You can easily fit them in front, just stretch the tires. No camber needed. As for the rear, just needs slight roll to make them it well. If you'd like to have my setup in the rear it's a -7 camber and it'll need some work to get it like that. Not fun but worth it. I can help you out if you decide to do it.

My Summer just started and so has the start of new beginning for my baby!
I have tons of stuff that have been laying around in my garage and I've been dying to install!

I took off the bumper because im sitting too damn low for me slip a jack under. I used two low profile jacks to get me off the ground.

Started to remove the radiator to make room for the 3" Pope down pipe.

Taking off the whole turbo assembly to replace it with my MAM tubular manifold and also something secretly planned that i'll show you guys later when it arrives =)

Trying to decided what was the best way attack this obstacle of taking off the S-pipe from the turbo. One of the biggest b@$!# to get off!
IMG_6866.jpg

As i was taking out the turbo i ended up ripping/tearing up the oil line hose for the turbo. =/ Gotta get a new one now.
