either way i really dont think it will change anything. when one goes down there are 5 more waiting to take his place. the war will never be over until the sun decides to destroy the first 4 planets when it explodes.

doesn't mean a thing, b/c Al-Quaida is still alive and well and who knows what kind of plans they have set in place for this very occasion. Lets not forget that this man eluded the mighty US for almost 10yrs. We are so far behind it's not funny. We have nothing to celebrate......................................maybe it's just me but why the rush to bury his body? Why not bring it back to the U.S? Is there some rule that they have to discard the body ASAP.

i dont believe it after seeing on tv today that they said they dumped his body in the sea.......really?

it says that the us said it would be hard to find a country to accept the body. and muslin customs call for a quick burial.......so im calling bs on all this

WASHINGTON – A U.S. official says Osama bin Laden has been buried at sea.
After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.
The official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security matters, did not immediately say where that occurred.
Everything now is set up in cells.....this "war" will drag out untill the higher powers that be relaize that to fight an enemy that doesn't play by rules means taking the chains off the baddest dog (have to be special forces, seals, green berrets) and letting them go....

he may be dead, but in the end we just pissed off this entire country. There are thousands ready to step up and try something again. Hell, little ass kids are being trained to kill us. The threat level will increase and there will be more hostile activity over here which means I will have to watch my back more and keep my head even lower. This s*** isn't over yet, we probably just started something else.

Progress is progress. He was a terrible person who did terrible things to innocent people and I believe he is dead. An innocent woman was killed during this raid because he and his "men" used her as a human sheild. We cut the head off of the snake, let's just hope it doesn't grow two back. Oh yeah, best believe the terror alert is on high around the world too. No one is dumb enough to think this ends the war on terror. I back the USA no matter what because it is the best damn country on this planet!
P.S. - Burried him at sea means they kicked his dead ass out with thier feet and watched him splash! Most likely, they gained some altitude before they did it just for fun...Hells yeah!
