Cobb fmic having issues with t bolt clamps

So i just installed my cobb fmic and i have noticed that the t bolt clamps are as tight as they will go and can still move them a little bit. Anyone else having this issue?

The clamps are maxed out on tightness, yet you can literally grab the clamps and pull them off with your hands. I thought this was the "new and improved" cobb FMIC? I was in shock when he popped the hood.

out of the blue much? lol If you can grab the clamps and pull them of with them fully clamped then its simple... the clamps are plain to big... go with smaller clamps, then you should be good to go!

No one is being a jerk but you. You have your forums mixed up; this isn't the asshole factory over at M-S-F.

The problem is a pretty simple one and I'd be on the phone to Cobb, were I the original poster.

Or just run to Auto Zone or other like stores and grab some clamps. Dont ever, no matter how highly held the manufacturer might be, depend on every single part to be perfect. There is always room for human error. So go drop another $5 and be happy. Oh, and I wanna see some pics

When you pay for something you expect it to fit and work.. Otherwise your back into the KNOCKOFF EBAY section.. As you stated could of been human error. Stuff happens people need to realize this he should just talk to cobb and get it fixed send back his and get new clamps and they cover the cost. That simple

**** that s***, If I was paying an arm and a leg for one of these overpriced Cobb kits that thing better be perfect! And screw paying a single cent for anything extra required to install it. This guy needs to get on the phone with Cobb and tell them to send the right parts asap.

it would cost u another $20 for those autozone clamps, i would call cobb first to see if they gonna relpace those clamps for u free(i mean they should)! good luck to u!!

autozone worm clamps are for s***. That's why the cobb kit comes with t-bolt clamps. Call Cobb and talk to them, but don't EVER replace t-bolt clamps with crapass worm clamps.
