What have you done to your MSP today?

He probably wants the corksport downpipe. I've got one that just made its way into the trunk and awaiting install :)

Today I discovered the 505 Intake manifold GI thread Round 2! Added myself to the list of course.

that makes more sense, and You'll be happy with your 505 intake mani, hopefully I get mine on tomorrow or sat. It's a work of art.
 
just got in on the 505 intake mani GI thread, downpipe, steedspeed mani, meth, injectors, GT2871 or 30R, haltech, custom ground cams, PnP head, MFactory LSD and more coming after the bottom end is built
 
have a vac leak somewhere...only boosting 3psi. I'm really starting to dislike this car. Maybe its time to part ways

ESy as pie to remove the turbo.
Its really a 15 minute job. Just loosen the clamp on the oil return line, coolant lines, and remove the oil feed.
I disconnect the J pipe though by taking off the 3 bolts at the S pipe.

Hopefully my Thunder v3 mani comes in soon. I'll do a DIY for everyone to see that its simple to remove the factory gt25
 
hmm, my main problem, or really only problem that I have had removing the turbo and exhaust mani is the damn oil feed line never wants to come off, s*** is so annoying, just doesn't come off until I twist it like crazy, which I don't like doing... any solution around that, maybe warm it up a little first??

and where are you getting the thunder mani from? they have some made still? thought they stopped making those a while back, or did you get it from someone else?
 
how about clocking the compressor housing? id have to drill new holes fro the wga, is that all?
 
I haven't done anything to my MSP in so long. I feel bad, it just sits there, every now and then I wash it out of pity. Battery is completely drained and I have a pile of parts just waiting for me to have time. I did do something with the 03.5 RacingHarts, I put those on my red 06 MX5, actually looks really good. I need to get new tires for 2 of them so I have the RHs in the front and the stock NC rims in the back but that will get fixed soon enough. I just wish they weren't so damn heavy.
 
lol alright cool.

well i got in on the 505 im gb and the 505 intake box gb, so i will have my custom gutted stock intake mani for sale when im finished with it.

quick question. has anyone done/noticed a difference in a ported tb on these cars? im pretty sure ive never seen anything about it

I think autoexe makes a big TB for our cars but thats a hefty price tag from what I recall.... I do not know of anyone who has made their own BTB
 
hmm may have to look into it. did the autoexe make a difference? and got a link to the part? i just figure im working on other breather mods may as well do some research
