have you seen the gas prices? I'll be lucky if I get 15 MPG out of it, not very good for a DD

No, I haven't seen the gas prices. I don't bother looking. They are a set price. And we still pay half as much as the Brits do for gas.

If you get a Miata and it sounds like a Spec Miata, it aint welcome on my side of the garage. haha

edit: Side note about cars... I'm in the market for something other than 2 cars that take premium gas and give me so-so mpg in the city. I did manage to find a nice 3 hatch at the dealership my dad works at which suits my needs and wants perfectly. He's going to take a look at it sometime in the next week and talk to the Mazda section of the dealership about a deal.. (He works for the BMW part.)

Edit 2: No, I am not getting rid of the Miata. I love that car.

I got 29.8 MPG in the Miata on the way to PA, and that was like WOT in 5th the whole time to keep up with those crazies..

And we still pay half as much as the Brits do for gas.

I picked up my helmet tonight. It turns out it has an M2000 Snell rating on it. New it was 300$, it has the helmet (some small nicks, scratches, etc), a clear visor, a smoke visor, and the bag. I paid 25$. It's all in who you know!

Just looked at the NASA rule book and it says that the M2000 rating is not acceptable, and that effective Jan. 2012, even the M2005 will not be good enough. Seems like some planned obsolescence BS rather than the old ones being "unsafe." I'm not sure if that's only for HDPE or if it's for Hyperdrive, too. There were way too many pages. Looks like I may not get to use my helmet.

Been averaging between 26 and 28 since the tune. This current tank may be a bit lower since I've done a lot more in town driving than usual. I've been going over things in my head though, trying to figure out my small issue that I'm fighting. The plugs are relatively new. Evan put them in before the car went off to tuning. Those should be ok. I'm going to try to change them anyway. If the problem persists, next are the coils and wires.
