I'm guessing that's the pipe that went from the turbo's output to the FMIC. Heat kills protective coatings on metal

Actually, no. It was the pipe from the driver side of the FMIC to the series of pipes connected to the throttle body.

Weird... Oh well, it's not that rusty anyway. Scratch, buy it from the man!

This P5 has the OEM fog deletes and the drivers side didn't sit flush against the bumper so a little water got in and rusted the piping. But it's still in solid shape. I saw it in person.
