HKPRO5's Supercharger Build Thread

Ok So working on some small stuff. Finally cut my EGR pipe. So now im running a filter on it with the header side capped.

Still working on my gauge pods. decided to delete the A/C controls. =) Still need to redo the switch side make it pretty.

Found out that my header is leaking between the two pieces. =( Going to fix that and double check the rest of the exhaust. Also gotta fix my damn O2 sensor for the wideband. The threads are messed up.

4-13-11 Test fit the panel. I want to pick up the new Prosport Evo boost gauge.

Also my wife threw out the box that had my straight neck housing for the thermostat. I was going to do that today along with the new water hose from SpeedCircuit. =(

Ive been running it for about 50-60 miles now with no problems.

I still have that start up issue. I though having my EGR closed off was the problem. I guess not.

hey Simon, how do you like your EVO gauge. im looking to get the boost gauge in that series.

Also, almost done, just some minor cleaning up, paint and get the switch panel in.

PVC pipe and some ABS plastic.

Used shavings from abs with acetone to make a plastic weld mix, that and some body filler to finish it up.

I'm laying the last coat of primer before I finish the rest of the panel. Then I'll probably paint flat black.

Maybe I misses it, but what about your climate control functions? I'm sure you pretty much only have one climate in Hawaii but still? Looks good though, especially the kill switch.

Yep. I dont use it at all. I picked up a spare bezel from Simon. Then shaved the lower panel from that
One.

Wow, straight up race car now, son. Looks good, man. Post more pics of your interior. It always makes me randy.

oh thats mine? sweet lol and i actually dont have the EVO series, mine is just a digital series gauge. But its pretty nice, awesome so far

defi link system? and nice man thats some good work. lets get some daylight pics!

Maybe. I really want to Prosport Evo guage though. But the Japan thing delayed the order so no one has them in stock.

If i go with the Defi link, the guy wants $110 for the link, water temp, and boost. But i need to get the solenoids and wires.

If I go with the Evo its only $95 but i have to wait 10-15 days. but i will get exactly what I want.

(probably going with the evo route)

EDIT. Last night, i installed the wideband sensor back in, I just used a sparkplug non fouler (softer metal) and put it in the bung....no problems. Went to start the car up to see the gauge.....car doesnt start....Im like WTH!
Tried everything, jump start, kick start, fuses, battery, everything, no dice. So i waited about 30 mins. go back out to start the car.... what do you know. it starts. WTF.

Going to reload the SSAFC map again today after the wife leaves for work ( im working the night shift now)

Here is how I did it.
Cut the PVC (2") how I wanted. it.

So from the outside of the car you wouldn't be able to tell that I have gauges. (if we were side by side)
