Absolutely agreed. I am thinking a custom made angled greddy type muffler with a few resonators to quiet it down and cut back on drone. Off the shelf catbacks are just too expensive for the 3 if you want anything decent.

thats true, but i would just take it to a good muffler shop. i got mine done for 120 installed, plus 40 for the muffler and honestly, i think i may have the best sounding exhaust of any protege..... its perfect. quiet when you need it to be, absolutely no rasp, gurgle at low rpms like a sti, and is modestly loud when you punch it. it sounds like an sti, but better haha. i really wish i had decent recording equiptment to catch the sound...
