Good Morning NEPOCers! So going to get the paint for the interior pieces......think I am going to get a hair cut, its been about 4 months since I got one. lookin pretty bad up top! Just not sure if I want to go with a full fade and nice and short on top or do a fade and keep in semi long......

Note the hand prints on my door, when we remodeled this room my 5 y/o Nathan, 3 at the time got plaster on his hands and ran it up and down the door! LOL but its on the back so I am not worried about it....This used to be his bedroom....almost like a momento of sorts!

That's 4 months man? Heh... you should have seen my hair when I came home from China... no hair cut in 4 months. Damn near mullet.

Good morning NEPOC friends! Anyone want an MSM?

Morning all.

Go mullet Tony. I cut mine every week or so.

Took the rear coilovers off yesterday and got them assembled but not in the car yet. Work on that this afternoon. Little messy with the undercoating but the bolts and nuts come off easily.

Weather was great yesterday. Cold wind is finally gone. Expecting snow flurries tomorrow and Sat but still above freezing so no accumulation.

Bored? Watch a video of me on the 'ring in a 188hp Toyota MR2 on sports tires. 8:05.884.

Lost a second here and there around the 5-6 minute mark but the first few sectors are flawless. Some guy at GTPlanet posted a challenge to get the car down to 8:00. He was at 8:09.664. I ran his exact car and could only do an 8:19. So I bested his time by just tweaking the suspension to my liking. His tune was very sloppy. I think 8:00 is achievable with a custom 6-speed transmission instead of the stock 5-speed...but he wanted me to run his exact specs so here is my run...

Steering wheel with 2 pedals. No heel-toeing though since I don't have to blip the throttle to down shift. Some people race with two feet (gas/brake) but I just race with my right foot like I do IRL. My reaction time is a little slower when tailgating other racers at 140+ mph but I can usually run equivalent lap times. In the video, you can see a red line to the left of the digital speedo and a white line to the right. That's my gas/brake work. It's a lot of WOT!

hanging down in alabama now. pretty chilly here. we need to get up super early and work on our moonbuggy project some more before its ready for the races. team germany is so freakin serious about this competition. they have an amazing machine built up.

pictures tomorrow!

Morning all, TGIF.

This made me lol. Low. Rye. Der. Ba ba ba ba ba! Ba ba ba ba ba! Ba baaaaaaaah!

I know, and that was after I raised it to the factory specs, can't imagine how the guy drove it on the road. I did take a spin when i finished the rears but had not done the fronts. Much better than the MS's. Will have a better idea today.

Had an interview for a job delivering parts for a Hyundai dealership. Waiting to hear.

Morning all. Bruce you move to Canada and all of a sudden want to join the 'slammed crowd'? haha Wish you luck with the job!!!

Goodmorning guys, I'm new to this section of the forums, well my names Wayne, I live in Providence, Rhode Island, its a pretty nice day here high of 75... okay, I'm lying, high of 34, it snowed last night, its misting now.

I own a Mazdaspeed Protege #133

Last week I installed a Injen CIA, this has been the first time it rained/we had puddles, I was so scared to drive to work this morning because everyone keeps telling me one puddle the right size and I'm hydrolocking my engine, lol.

I recently ordered a CXRacing FMIC that will be arriving this upcoming Wed.

I have a Greddy Type RS BOV that will be installed with the FMIC.

I've also had Tokico Blue High Performance Gas Shocks hanging around my dads garage for about two weeks its just been to cold to do anything with them, I plan on installing them tmw morning hopefully if the grounds dry.

Last week I went to get my car inspected and than went straight to the exhaust shop from there and had a three inch, no cats straight to the muffler from the JPipe, I plan on buying a greddy evo2 muffler this weekend and finish that up.

I really need to get a boost guage and a AFR guage soon!

Well yeah I'm pretty bored at work -__- I hope to meet some new people and attend every event/get together I can make.

On the road again.... This time to Kentucky. I just got the word today that I have to be there at 7am on Monday. This means I'll have to leave Sunday, but I'll have to pick up the rental car on Saturday since the place is closed on Sundays.

I'll be there until the following Sunday which means I miss Grand-Am race at Barber in AL. :(
