I put mine in the savings account. Get some cash built up so that i can eventually stop living as a tennant and finally start working towards buying a house.

Oh, just trying to get myself in gear for the day. I've got the breakfast of champions (pb&j and a dr. pepper).

That's what I have planned for lunch. Really tired today, gonna try to pull of the stock cold pipe and that may be it for the day. I work from 1-10 again but have the next two cold and rainy days off.

New mods look good, I've always liked that style of grill on any Mazda and was *this close* to having a Mint Blue grill in my possession...I just couldn't justify the cost for it (helluva deal) + paint. Wheels turned out good as well!

i still have it... not sure if i trust the guy that has the wtb thread. he is in trinidad and tobago. i would need the money first.

and ive said it in another thread... but levi... your 3 is perfect.

nah... i still want a new wing and either work on a rear diffuser or the OEM rear aero flares, just something to finish off the the rear of the car to look fitting with the rest of the aggressive look

im to the point i want to get somethings done and then just leave it be and enjoy it haha

I wish my list could look something like that...mine was more along the lines of set aside funds for family vaca, rest for savings. haha

why does no one believe me? laugh all you guys want, but everything i ever wanted to do when i first started modding is done once i install the koni' (tint, intake, header, exhaust, springs, konis, wheels, grill and lip) the other little things (rear flares and wing) are if i find a good deal, but i dont need them so they are no rush

im at the point im tired of modding and want to start setting aside said mod money for a down payment on a house... its depressing to think about how much ive spent renting an apt/house for the last 4 years that could have gone towards a house that i would actually own instead of just padding someone elses bank account

so yea... im going to just leave it be and enjoy it

if the weather holds ill be doing a "proper photoshoot" today after work

last nights was a rushed quick snap a few photos before its totally dark, so with the new pics ill make sure to get pics that show the lip off properly

My want list is huge....but I'd say 95% of it will never get done. Especially since the main thing on my list is another car for modding and track use.

I drive way too much and I don't get compensated for it unfortunately. I've put about 35k miles on the car since I've owned it. April 7 will mark 1 year of owning it

and...am i the only one who has no desire to own a house (unless it was something i custom built - giant garage with awesome loft above)...i don't want to be stuck with something i can't move away from or sell...i don't want the debt for 30 years....i don't want to have to pay to fix something...etc etc my job also likes for people to move around for promotions, so owning a house sucks for that kind of s***...my team leader right now is trying to sell their house because they are moving to Cincinnati and they can't find a buyer because everyone in their development has their houses priced too low...

I can see your point in that aspect for sure. I always have the potential to go live in another country again. I like having the freedom to do something my own way. For example... If I was to buy a house in a neighborhood that I love, but the garage is a little too small for my liking? Find the cash, smash it down and build a bigger one. If I want a bigger garage while renting, i gotta find an all new house. Plus... to get my dream house, I'm most likely going to have to start small, fix it, pay it off, sell, and go bigger. That's how a guy I work with got his nice house. If it worked for him, it could work for me.

so look at it like this, say your rent is 425 a month over the last 4 years thats over 20k that could be going into something that would actually be your own, instead its like dumping that 20k down the drain with nothing to really show
