pro5 with accord lip

It's not a perfect fit and you pretty much have to figure out where you want to trim it (if you trim it al all...). As far as bolting it to the bumper, what do you mean? haha Just fit it and attach it where you like it. Mine is in 2 pieces currently.

Yeah I know that, but want it to fit snug against the bumper if possible...What area's did you cut/trim? Only things I can see looking out of place would be curve of the lip ontop and where it goes round the corner of the bumper?

did you use the existing bolt mounts to bolt it up, and what about the middle?

No, there aren't any existing bolts there to bolt it to. You're bolting into the bottom of your bumper to attach this.

To be honest, it doesn't fit quite right and I ran it for a while with just minimal cutting and a lot of elbow grease while mounting it to get the contours to match the bumper. But then I got silly with it...

Cutting & trimming? (lol2) I've done a lot, more than anyone else, I think...

I cut the top middle strip that runs along the top of the lip from just inside each curve side to side. Then I cut ~3" out of the middle of the lip. I added ~3" back onto each side of the lip and a 90 degree angle to wrap around the back of the bumper. I still need to put it back together, tho. It's still in 2 pieces sitting in the corner of my living room... It got pushed to the back burner because of other projects & doing those modifications is time consuming and melting/re-shaping plastic is pretty nasty...

Anyways, my concern is i JUST found this lip, its an accord lip, but not 94-95 ..its a 96-97 but looks like the protege lip.

There is a little lip that would fit onto the middle grill area. It would look weird to have it there, not like the autoexe lip that goes all the way up. While that accord lip would only go half way.

I'll buy one next week and let you know. I wanted a new lip anyway and for $60 shipped it's worth a shot. Honestly, you could probably get most lips to fit with some minor trimming. But most cats just want something that bolts right on without any modifications. I had a JDP replica front lip that's made for the MSP lip mounted to my stock P5 bumper and everyone said it wouldn't fit. (gasp, it did with some trimming with a Dremel)

I wouldn't mount it like the DG style bumper over the bottom lip of the bumper. I would trim it so it just mounts flush to the bottom of the front bumper. I'm on springs so I won't go any lower but it looks like it would be pretty low in the front if it's mounted flush with the bottom of the bumper.

bdw i went to the junk yard a couple hours ago and found an Accord 10th anniversary w a lip (the only 1 thankfully) literally every single accord had its whole front face ripped out!

but i managed to get the front lip off, and seems to fit.

95 accord lip got it at a junk yard yesterday $10.92 (lol) theres about half an inch on each side of the bumper cant really tell unless you pay attention to it and no gap in the front didn't even have to the bumper off

EDIT: the 4x4 look will be gone friday getting lowering springs Tein S(yippy)

yeah not bad. i got it for free, as my friend was buying 1 also, and the guy didnt care and said w/e its only 4.20 just go so i got my lip and a horn and his lip for 5 $ haha.

STILL MAD I COULDNT FIND A NICER ONE, or Bigger like that 1..IDK i might just buy one off of ebay, but dont know if itl fit..guess i have to wait on Lewis77 to respond with his buy.
