I understand what Revmoto is trying to say, the lack of aftermarket support gives limitations to the choice in quality parts. We need more support and being that the Speed was a niche platform to begin with and its numbers dwindling as is, the number of fabricators willing to throw out the change in hopes revenue is earned back on a shrinking platform much like our cars is small in number.
I say go for it, if there's a vendor who's willing to make some quality parts for us by all means DO IT... Although with all this talk, I say put your money where your mouth is.

It's sometimes good to hear another car enthusiast opinion. Like I said before, I'm new to this whole thing. This is my first car I've modded and I started April of last year. With the help of my brother and others my MSP has made some drastic changes. Like others said, It's a damn fun car to drive....and mod 
There is something about it when you get behind the wheel. I've been in my buddies STI and it just feels weird. I feel lost... Once you own a Protege, the car and it's owner are one.
