okay so the problem that i am having is that i am spliting a remote wire from the deck. when i power off my car and the remote turns of i get a LOUD "THUMP" from the Subs but not the door Speakers

I put a Ground Loop Iscolator inline the rca to the mono and i still get it! i ran the 2 ground wires from the iscolator to the ground port on the amp!

Before i added the 4 channel i had the mono amp pushing 3 planet audio 10's and never had that problem

I was told by best buy that i might need a resistor on the remote wire.

Any advice as to how to get rid of it?

how close to the Deck is the split?. when i was running two amps i was told by my installer that i needed to run a solid wire to one amp then bridge the remote to the other as in Deck>Amp1 then from Amp1>Amp2

I don't know why anyone would split the remote wire from the deck. It's ridiculously easier to do at the amps. But whatever. That is most likely your problem. Use 1 wire from the deck. Split it at the first amp. I do this in my own MS3 and it works fine.

Sorry guys, That exactlly what i did, i used a 9 wire loom from audiopipe, and i split it in the back not right behind the deck! sorry for not elaborating correctly!

what i did exactlly was splice 2 wires for my two remotes into one butt connector and on the other end would be the remote wire coming from the loom!

try using the first amp as the actual splitter.. the loom to amp one and then run a wire from the remote turn on from amp one to amp 2 no butt connectors just two wires see what happens.. any extra energy should be absorbed by the amps.

Sounds resonable and accurate! ill try that and hopefully itll work, cause the dont power on at the same time! they have like a half a second window between power off's/on's

Im having same issuse but with an mtx amp and factory deck tryed switching the remote wire and amp wont turn off with switch because of high output threw speeker out put ,6 volts all the time untill car is turned off.

two things
check the amp and see if it has the option to power on after sensing line input signal, the newer ones do that
also
check the 12volt forum for this little timer delay circuit you can solder up. you can then turn on the separate components in the correct order to avoid the thumpys
