long technical problem please help!!!

i did notice another symptom in the car, every time i completely stop my RPM goes up and down only twice and then its stable. attached is the video of the rpm. so you dont think its the fuel pump bc thats wat the dealer is telling me

a vented bov at idle caused this for me.

Its an air metering problem. You have a post maf leak and the car is sucking in more air then metered by the MAF.

If a BOV Is VTA and does not seal properly this happens. I think thats what hes saying. Or maybe he means its just venting air period...

I have had some bad experiences with previous cars chasing down problems. On my girls car dealership told her oh you need a new 02 thats why your Engine light is on they said that would fix it for sure.

Nope did not fix it we ended up spending over 1,000 dollars. It had a slight exhaust leak at the header where the top and bottom piece meet. What had happened was the Dealership she bought her car from Busted out the check engine light and put a 2 year inspection sticker on her car. So She had no clue wtf they did till she went to get it inspected. We had to go back and basically go through everything related to the exhaust system and possible intake leaks.

Turns out that when rear cat was replaced the Check engine light went off and her gas mileage went from like 20mpg back to over 30 on her civic .

Be patient is my choice of words you will find the problem just stay at it. thats the moral to my rant

Not the fuel pump. You still have a leak that WILL cause the idle issue. Find the leak or you're wasting time and money replacing parts. HOWEVER, you likely have a component leaking that will need to be replaced. Keep in mind there is an AIR leak, so it will be on the intake side.

BACK 3. I think I said the wrong bank in upper post....

note that i compaired it to an air metering problem... i understand this is a v6 and has 2 banks.

so wat makes u think its the PCV valve?

well the pcv valve is a one way valve allowing air out of the head of he motor.
If it is dead it will most likely have a crack or be stuck open. its just precautionary for positive crank case pressures but allowing air in that way would cause an air metering problem too.
someone correct me if im wrong---> but you would be pulling fuel since the amount of air metered does not match the oxygen sensors readings out of the engine.

iight, so i check everything and tighted it and rest the cpu and everythign was good for a 200 miles. but today i was in a parking lot and it got hot in the car so i turned on the AC( at idol), as soon as i turned on the AC i got another CEL. so when i got home i checked it and it was P2187.. another lean code. i got the freeze data attached.. please help.

so i went to the machnic today and they said it the CAI not the fuel pump and told me all i have to do is replace the CAI w/ the OEM one. so i told him ok and he reset my codes and i got him and i got another CEL. this time is P2179, P2177, and P2187 all at the same time. please help. should i put the old intake on?

With these codes it could indeed be that the CAI is leaking around the MAF sensor now, OR that the CAI MAF location is causing incorrect airflow voltage to the ECU. What did the mechanic do to the car? Sounds like he screwed around with the CAI setup.

he checked everything, removed teh CAI and did a smoke test and found no leaks at all. he also noticed that one of the sensors wasnot plugged it, i really dont kno wat sensor it was, it was a green plug that was on the old intake box, i unplugged it and left it unpluged when i put in my CAI. he said that might b the problem and told me to put back the old aintake box
