Piaa Fogs?

Just wondering what is a better fit for fog / driving lights for our cars, the piaa 520 or 540?

Is there much of a gap? were they easy to install? The guy who had the car before me kinda redneck installed the fogs!

Is it better to get fog lights or driving lights for our cars? I know that the height of mounting has something to do with it, right?

The major difference is that fogs diffuse the beam (and therefore have lenses that have ridges in them) and driving lights do not (having clear lenses). Fogs are probably more practical for inclement weather driving, but driving lights are better on a clear night, and I think they look better on a car. The P5 lights are fogs. I believe it is best to mount fogs lower because they're used in inclement night driving and you want to minimize the glare off of snow, rain or fog right in front of the driver's eyes.
