They'll fit fine and they'll look sexy as hell.

I prefer the first ones.

Hahaha. I got the v2's so the second one. I got them for an amazing rate thou. Ill post pics when they come this wednesday!

Im going to do tint before springs. But I'll try to get that done just after xmas and then springs by the end of january when my exhaust comes in.
I'll buy Eibach Pro Kit

Eibach Sportlines go lower and equal front and rear, Pro kit lower in the front than in the rear. Both are progressive rate springs. Cheapest price I found for sportlines $175.81 @ autopartsdealer.com part #4.4555. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Thanks but I don't want that much drop. 2.0" is too much because then I will have to get a camber kit and new shocks after a year.

I may be wrong but I think you will need a camber kit regardless of what lowering springs you go with.

^what he said..

you dont NEED a camber kit for any of the springs but if you want even tire wear you will want them.

to me, its worth the 180 bucks to save me from killing my tires in 1-1.5 years.

but anywho, those wheels look very nice. ive seen a few 1st gen 3's/Ms3's with those wheels and i really like them.

Umm, you only need camber arms if you go lower than approx. 1.5". That puts the rear camber off by enough that the factory parts cannot be adjusted properly when you get an alignment. Eibach pro kits and such don't necessarily need a camber kit because they don't throw the camber off by that much.

That is what I was under the impression of. And for an everyday driver, I still want to keep a certain level of comfort. I took a ride in my buddys 3 with the ProKit and they felt firmer without compromising comfort.

Yeah the pro kit is a good bet if you want to keep some kind of ride quality. I DD my car at 2.5" lower in front and 2" lower in the rear but it rides pretty rough. Not as bad as some cars because the coilovers I have use progressive rate springs but definitely more harsh than just lowering springs with decent shocks.

I was under the impression that springs are interchangeable between the older 3's and newer 3's but I could be misinformed. If that is the case there is a company called progress that makes progressive rate springs with the same drop as a pro kit which would ride even nicer.

Thanks for the info! I just checked them out and the only Mazda springs they carry are for the MX5 and RX8 =[

Edit: stupid website. Take the spaces out...

I'd ask them if it would fit 2011 models though.

I don't believe that we have any camber adjustment on the rear. Shorter spring = more inner surface tire wear due to increased negative camber. Unless, you have a big tire budget then there is no problem. Not to mention exsessive negative camber looks like pure crap. Just sayin. Do what you want, at the end of the day it is you car/money. BTW the new wheels look great!
