You need to get one of those 3M invisible bras put on the car so we can look at its beauty on the track and not covered in painter's tape... ya jackwagon!! Looks good bro

hahaha... yer killin' me! i actually tried a clear bra on my hood once, ripped it off the next day. something about it just really bothers me visually. painter's tape looks like s*** but it works like a charm, and the rest of the time the front end can be naked and pure!

Do cars really get that much damage to the paint on tracks vs driving on the interstate? I always thought tracks were cleaner than regular roads.

no, the track is very clean. the problem is that when some one goes off the track and them comes back on they drag some dirt/sand/pebbles with them. that day i was right on some one's ass as we came around a corner where some one had gone off the track. i could hear all the little pieces of debris hitting my front end and was happy that my ugly painter's tape saved me!

Not to mention what marbles could do if kicked up. I was at Road Atlanta for Petit LeMans in 2009 and an IMSA Lite car kicked up something from the track and drilled me in the forehead. Hurt like hell. I've seen a lot of rubber marks from marbles kicked up and hit by cars following.
