doesnt look like rust to me...(shrug)
besides,
arent we all losers if the competition is to rust things?

Doesn't look like rust? lol You need your eyes checked.

And yes, anyone who tries to add rust to their vehicle is a loser. Thanks for pointing that out.

oh, lol. fix that already!

in due time. lol

suspension mods and CF took precedence this spring/summer. I'll be getting the lip & fender paint matched together in the spring. Cheaper that way. ;)

That is almost as funny as the hondas around here with exhaust, wheels, suspension braces, no front bumper, and a dented hood. misappropriation of funds on a near governmental level.

wow...we were talking about the whole fender being rusted, not bad cancer looking rust (like phen or whoever else u guys were talking about)

and UC...why dont you just spray some primer on that, thats going to get worse lol

yes, that was the joke, which was funny once it was realized to be the joke. I thought my pointing out that differentiating from from rear fenders would clear that up.

and +1.

Because primer is porous and will barely stop anything... he'd have to sand it all down and start over. Pure waste of time and money.

not if its self etching, or epoxy primer. it would be a good temporary fix, better than just letting the rust eat it up to save a buck.\

damn ninjas

^This. Honestly, I can get a brand new primered fender for $40... The time and supplies to fix this fender would surely work out to more than that. And I have cleaned up the area since those pics were taken.

Yes, I realize I let it go too far but I had a lot more going on than just a body panel that needed paint at the time. I was a handshake away from selling the car when I made a 180 this winter and decided to keep the car. The transformation of the car from February to now is crazy... Anyone who had seen my car prior to when I was talking to a couple people about selling it can attest to the transformation that it's gone through in the last year, let alone just the last 6 months... If you look at the mod list in my sig, probably 95% of that was all done in the last year. There was also the blown tranny that I swapped out. lol I'm content with how she sits currently. And oh so much more is to come. ;)

ebay, son. It was a few years ago, but it was less than $45 shipped. Just had to cut a hole for the side marker, but that took all of 10 minutes...
