What have you done to your MSP today?

Tiny battery on an otherwise stock looking car?

recently did my timing belt and water pump...now my freaking radiator is leaking. As much as I would like to upgrade to a CS radiator, I may just settle for a p5 radiator for now until the time comes for a better radiator. I was just thinking about getting the CS downpipe and a meth kit too. If it isn't one thing, it's another with these cars FML!!!

Battery mod looks good and clean i have something similar but with a braille auto battery 17lb but i put it in the ft bumper area.. get some weight up ft help with traction..

I agree with the traction thing for sure. This was something I wanted to make so we can sell it later. With that being said, the easier the better. We will be making a lot of new parts for the car and this is just the start. Hell, I just picked it up friday. LOL. Next up, I have to get it on a lift and take a look at the exhaust. After that I will tackle the IC pipes and intake along with a few other things. I plan on putting a call into a few different cam manufactures that we use to see what they can come up with as well. I guess my goal with this car is a solid 11 second DD with all the comfort it can offer.

yup definitely that's the goal with mine.. i enjoyed the video of the evo.. i see your in to quality and function.. I am sure you will make great parts for this car.. we need more ppl that are willing to venture out.. my applaud to you for doing your own r&d usually those are the ppl who make the best product out there..

tiny battery makes sense now. good luck with your build.

I spend to hours getting her shiny and spotless. I guess it was worth it cause I got a first place trophy :)

high idle could be a mistimed cam, fortunately, these are non-interference engines so it won't blow up.

I would also double check for vacuum leaks.

what i do when i time the car, is pull the cyl.1 spark plug and put 2 pretty long 3/8 extensions together into the cyl
then just turn the crank till it comes up, thats TDC, then just slip the belt on and put both cams pointing the line toward each other

obviously thats the quick way to do it, ive done the timing belt 3 times so far, worked perfect each time

It may be a leak but i'm hoping it's the belt being incorrectly installed, thanks for the info I hope I can get it lined up this time, I tore it all apart last night.

It's so shiny, no wonder you won, congrats. I doubt my MSP could win anything, i've only taken the mustang to shows.
