2010 Mazda5 MT
Weathertech only mention it will fit AT equipped Mazda5 only. I could not see much difference with the floorboard except the clutch mechanism.
Anybody tried to fit this mat on MT cars yet?
Is there any other option for MT equipped mazda5?

Thanks for the offer chief_wiggum. St Louis are quite ways for me just to try fitting this mat.
I have Weather tech digital fit on my other car and they seem to work the best. It could use a few improvement but they still way better than anything else on the market at this time.

I might just order a set and modify it to fit if I have to.

I own a MT as well and have been pondering this ever since I bought my 5. I've looked at pics over and over again, and the only thing I could think of is the lip of the mats will interfere with the clutch operation. I'm sure some trimming will help clear the pedal. I've had poor luck with other universal mats ie. not allowing me to depress the clutch all the way down, or they're too short and gets caught on the pedal when releasing. On a side note, I wonder how the guys in europe are doing with mats? I'm sure over 95% of their 5's are MT.

Anyone try weathertech for the rear cargo area? I know they recommend Universal but it looks like a new Murano fitment might be real close.

Well the set I order last Monday arrived today. I am lucky they must have some in stock. My fried order a set last year and took them 2-3 weeks before they arrive.

Good news is it fits my MT Mazda5 without a hitch. The clutch pedal are close to the floor but not even touching or even in danger of getting caught. I do have clutch travel stopper that are about 6 mm taller than the stock rubber stopper and it might contribute to my install success. This clutch travel stopper are basically made using #8X1" machine screw, 8 pices of #8 washer, #8 nut and #8 plastic screw cover that I got from Home Depot.

Hi, i am a new member on this forum. I received my DigitalFit today, the mats fit is perfect. My car as a manual transmission and there absolutely no problem.

That is good to hear. I wonder if Weathertech just mention this lately due to Toyota Unintended Acceleration fiasco or its been like this since 2006. That makes 2 of us with 2010 MT that did not have any problem with the mat.

I paid $254 delivered from CarID for all 3 rows. Its pricey but I think worth it since we are going to keep the car for a long time. I just could not stand looking at stains and moldy smell that comes from wet carpet.
If you just need two front rows its a lot cheaper but we use our 3rd row to haul kids friends so its important for us.

Did anyone tried weather tech digitalift floor mats from a 09 in the 07 model ????? There site doesn't list them for the 06-07 models just for the 08-11 models. I did a search but came out empty. Thx for all your help.

Has anyone tested the 2008-2010 digital fit mats from Weathertech in the 2007 model yet?

Yes... I have the front, second row and cargo digital fit mats made for the 08-10 models in my 2007. Fronts fit perfectly!! 2nd row fits perfectly... except, it seems that the re-model of the center console made the center consile a little longer in the 2008-10's (sticks into the second row a little further) and so there is an extra half inch that is not quite covered by the mat when placed in an 06 or 07. But this is only around the console, is barely noticeable and should not stop you from buying. The rear cargo mat fits perfectly.

Thanks for the info! I ordered them and they fit perfectly for me too. Ordered the cargo area mat too. Everything is working perfectly. Very happy with the quality and the fit and finish.

Thanks for letting me know!

just got them for my 09. They fit great. the mazda dealer in town had them on sale for $175 for the 1st and second rows. they also have the mazda5 logo on them which is nice.

Does the trunk mat allow use of the 3rd row? I like the vinyl OEM one for protecting the carpet from every day mess but it would be great to have something waterproof.
