Heh. I was told that back in the late 90's and early 2000's, the Chinese military actually stored a lot of the arsenal for the west side of the city here at the factory. There were a couple tanks too.

Uh, no. Hung out with her last night at a big expat gathering. Met a lot of cool people. Pictures should turn up sometime soon.

Nah, my computer completely fried last week. I've been without a computer for the last week. So... ummm, updates:

I've been in meetings with the customer this week. It's a total pain in my ass. Nothing ever seems like it gets resolved.

I ate scorpions on Monday. Tasty
I had a fish last night that is apparently deadly if not prepared correctly. It's a Chinese river fish but they couldn't give me the name.

I still don't have the internet in the apartment working right with the new computer. Gotta get ahold of IT to help me there.
Umm... what else... hell I dunno. My brain has turned to mush.

Oh, I know... I'm going shopping for Halloween costumes with a new friend I've met out here, then after that we're hitting a wine bar that she found. She's found some halloween parties to hit around the Sanlitun area. Should be interesting.
