NEMOC Random BS Thread

This weekend there is a Sat midnite run for miatas in Seabrook NH. 1st so it should be interesting.

Sounds like fun!

Morning all. Going to look at those rims early next week. The guy is being wierd about the price now. If I can get all 5 for $450 I'm going to do it. Then I have to figure out what color to powder coat.

Black or Gunmetal? hmmmm

His last email he started saying he wants $600 for them or he might just hold on to them. This is after he told me $450 the day before.

sounds like hes trying to get more because he knows you want them...jerk

Yeah, I told him I was willing to pay $450, otherwise I can just get them off ebay for the same price and pay the shipping. I told him if the $450 price is still good I'll come see them early next week. If not, I'm not wasting my time going to look at them.

I'm finally going to move everything back into the finished basement this weekend. hooray!

Helllllllllll yeah son!

On a side note.... Just got a call to set up my 2nd interview for the job in GA. If that goes well, which it sounds like it will, I'm off to Atlanta, GA for a in person interview and possible hiring. Yay!

So my sister just trader her 1993 Civic CX (not directly) for a 1988 Audi 80 Quattro 2.3L 10V inline 5 with 200K miles and a locking rear diff. One owner. Sale price $1000. Gonna be a fun ride... in all senses...

I'm just hoping I can make 1 final NEPOC meet before I have to go. I put down my start date as 25 Oct, but I can start as late as after Thanksgiving... Who knows.

Bleh... I just got another offer for a job in Yuma, AZ for more money, but it's a supervisory job and not a technician job. I think I'll have to look at it more tomorrow and see if it's worth it. Ultimately, it will come down to doing what I want and love vs something that close but for more money.

How the hell do you all deal with this?!

Should've kept the civic. That audi is going to be a money pit

I have to agree on this on. I have a guy in the office that owns an Audi and he is cursing up a storm on it whenever the thing breaks. The repair costs on it are just outrageous.

for sure, with that many miles!

Morning gang! The simple answer to any job is find what you love to do in life and go for it because we only have one turn on this roller coaster called life. Many of us work 40+ hours a week. Calculate how many years of your life that is in an estimated span of 40 years. It's good to have options because these days many people still do not even have a job sadly enough.
