So most of you know from my numerous FS threads that I put Laser Blue back to stock. But ever since I did its been running like crap. I went back over every connection, cleaned everything cleanable, and even replaced a few parts (MAF, O2 sensor, plugs, etc.). Nothing helped.
Symptoms: Started up fine, idled perfect, but would hesitate really bad when first giving it gas to speed up. Then it would run fine going through gears but when I slowed to a stop it would nearly die and just barely catch itself, and then idle fine. and repeat.... and repeat...

So I finally gave up and took it to the stealership... no codes, and they couldn't find anything wrong either. As a last resort, I asked them to flash the ecu... I had this weird idea that maybe after resetting it everytime I added a mod for more than a year that the brain couldn't figure out how to go back to stock anymore.
So the tech reflashed the ecu and guess what... PROBLEM SOLVED!. It runs so well now stock that I almost wonder why I ever modded it to begin with! (almost... lol)

So I came home and gave her a nice bath and detailed the interior, and she's looking and running awesome!

well, the reflash is actually supposed to get rid of the hesitation, so i guess it did its job lol

CAN they? yes. Will they? no idea.

If you could provide the VIN off an MSP that might help.. theres a chance it would have to be the MSP your ECU came from... but I can't say for sure.

I did my first official 'performance mod' yesterday, (not counting the milennia PCV or breather for the VC) a Forge BPV. It adds some nice bling under the hood, now I want the matching Forge WGA.
