Insurance hike for MSP

Uhh. I pay $3100 for 6 months with Allstate. FML

Good lord, do have liek 6 OWIs or something? Lol.

You guys with Allstate need to switch to someone else. I've had Progressive for 2 years, I'm a 22 year old male, zero accidents, and I pay $390 every 6 months for a regular protege with full coverage (liability, collision, comprehensive, roadside assistance).

Granted, it's not a MSP, but still...it's not gonna be that much more.

I have Geico, even after telling them it came with a turbo and it was the mazdaspeed model they still said it is a four door sedan. My insurance increased about $5.00 because of the price i paid and the year of the car. So no, mine did not go up much at all

I pay $161 a month through allstate for comprehensive but I also have two wrecks in one year, but before when I was with allstate I was paying $116 full coverage for my 03 protege dx

I have the worst situation. 17 on my parent's insurance with 2 tickets and I totaled my Jetta.

So ******.

I pay close to 150/month. I got AAA with full coverage. Clean record. I never told them it was a msp. Thought they would insure me for a regular protege. But im guessing once the run the vin it says what it is.

Haha almost. I drive under an Altima on my way to class. The only reason I got the MSP is because I pay for everything myself. I'm about to switchto progressive.

also have to remember that location has a lot to do with this also. AND if the state is no-fault or not. i went from my moms policy with no speeding tickets at $120/mon in florida to maryland on my own policy down to $112/mon with WAY lower deductibles and them finding my speeding ticket lol. this is mainly because florida is a no-fault state and maryland is not (as far as i have known).

That must be what it is. I too live in FL.

122.37 a month for full coverage on the MSP and F150 with a 250 deductible on both. The fact that you think its the state of FL has nothing to do with it. You really just can't compare insurance prices unless you compare coverage to coverage as well

Also note my insurance went up 10 bucks from a P5 to the MSP. Then my insurance took a huge dip from 240 a month to 170 just by switching companies. Then it dropped again when i recently switch to progressive. NOTHING has changed other then the insurance provider. OK that's not completely true. I actually upped my coverage with progressive and still dropped a bit.

Without all the information below you really cant compare just rates...

ok now im curious but what kind of deductible and coverage? 250/500/100 deductable? 20/30/20, 50/100/50? ect ect ect..?

I have 50k/100k/50k with a 250 deductible with 2 people on my policy. Now I have 1 flag on my DL but thats due to a ******* tint ticket of all things.

Yeah I'm at 2700/year. Parent's plan still, but that is straight A's, dean's honors, and an almost clean record. 1 parking lot accident when I owned my Ford Focus. Some jackass parked parallel behind me... still my fault -__-

Its funny, its cheaper for me to insure my MSP than my 02 MP5.. through USAA, and my 350Z was cheaper than both my mazdas... I dont know where they get there rates from...

I use to have minimum, with theft and it was $37 a month. Now I have my gf, her caviler, and her DUI on my plan. It's not that bad though. $73 a monthfor minimum and theft. I figure if I'm cited for the accident, I can personally fix my own car and insurance will cover the rest. I use to work at a body shop. So I try to drive more careful. Helps keep my foot off the throttle sometimes.

$70/Month with just myself and the speed protege, which is full coverage with a high deductible. I'm 24 and have one speeding ticket that drops off next year. I can't wait to see what it drops to when I'm 25 :D
