If they're guarenteeing their work, that's not really that bad. It's takes a long time to rollthe fender right with a heat gun and the fender roller and NOT crack the paint. Had I known better and didn't go at mine with a baseball bat last summer I would've gladly paid $150 for a professional job.

Yeah it really is not that bad of a price. Especially after I read that people in SoCal paying $75 a wheel. But I'd rather to try it my self first if I can. Plus, I just bought new tires, so I'm really strapped for cash right now.

As for a baseball bat, I wouldn't even try that. Honestly, I would feel more comfortable doing the mallet method first.

Here's the best explanation I could find off hand. It sounds like the benefit is that it doesn't damage the paint, you know there are no sharp edges/corners on newspaper.

Yeah I saw that, but the site hasn't been updated in close over 10 months. Seems kind of sketchy.

I'm hoping I can get a hold of Biggu and borrow his. I am heading to WV next weekend, and may make a detour to cbus.

If anything, I can buy one for $235 off of ebay. It seems like there are quite a few peeps around here that could use one. Maybe take some donations to help pay it off. Even If i get 5 peeps donate $20 at a fender rolling meetup, its worth it.

I'm getting excited now...I reallllly want to put my RX-8 wheels back on the car before I take the tires off them and put them on my stock MS3 wheels for the Winter. The oem Potenzas are boarder-line illegal...extremely bald lol

The RX8 wheels are 18x8, offset of 50, and my tires are 225/45/R18 Goodyear Eagle GT A/S, which I believe is the same size tire the RX8s had oem.

The MS3 wheels are 18x7, offset of 52.5, and the oem tires are 215/45.

Visually, the RX8 wheels are much closer to the fender, almost flush at the top. (probably 0.5-1.0" away)

I did a lot of research before hand and everyone said that the RX8 wheels with 225/45 shouldn't require a roll. I'm still puzzled but whatever lol. I think I will just put the RX8 wheels back on this week and enforce a 2 passenger limit lol.
