today I greased my front right break finally, so no more squeaking! and also replaced the the rear c pillar? the back plastic cover, the one that I painted black was bubbled because I was impatient the first time, so luckily I had a spare around and just painted that one.. looks much better, now just need to replace the fog light ballast sometime when I get back from Ohio this weekend

also my brother's msp is close to running great again, turns out the fuel pressure problem (18psi) is most likely due to a torn grommet that connects the fuel pump to the fuel lines inside of the fuel.. basket? but ya should come in on monday and going to get that fixed.. then should be all set!.. and had one of his belts replaced and no more squeaking from that either.. almost there finally

also just cleaned my wheels a little, and a quick spray wax for the car... I'm gonna try out that new Armoral wheel protection spray and see how it holds up against the brake dust on my trip to/from Ohio.. I'll let you guys know if it is worth it, I hope so, it would keep my wheels looking much nicer all the time

I installed my TT today, worked on the first try! Also got my brake pads and SS brake lines in the mail, will probably install them in the morning.

My passenger wheel squeaks and gets louder when you turn right, it makes noise every time I turn, does this sound like a wheel bearing? I know the brakes need to be replaced but it makes noise when i'm not braking so I don't think it's a caliper dragging or anything.

went and looked at those rims, and wow they are TRASHED by salt. so i said id offer $75 for all 4. so i walked, but however i found a set of MINT rx8 rims for $220 and a used set of tires to fit for $75 so i got a prestine set of Rx8 wheels for $295 lol

VERY VERY happy :D

I'd check your CV Joints & tie rod ends. Wheel bearings typically make noise all the time, not just in a turn. And typically, if it's your passenger wheel, when you turn to the right, the noise will go away because load is placed on the outside wheel during a turn. And the inside wheel gets most of the load taken off of it, so the bearing grinding will go away.

i guess i will lol, i got 40 series tires instead of 45 series as are on the stocks...

and my stock suspension sits way high, so im hoping they will clear. not many bumps on my highway drive to work/school anyways lol :P

wheel diameter has nothing to do with having to roll. offset and tire size are what necessitates a roll. 225 on a 50 offset should be fine, I'm running the same width on 47 offset and only roll with the most extreme driving and heavy loaded back of the car.

battery died...gonna get an optima. It says i need a bottom height adaptor, anybody have an idea what that is?

Its just a plastic shim that sets into the stock battery tray and supports the battery. My Optima came with it. You have the option of using it or not...

I got 215/35 on my rx-8's and no rubbing at stock height or lowered. I only had to roll my fenders for my 17's. It is close to rubbing but dose not. They are closer to rubbing with width then with height.
