lol yeah. my 2in drop was just a super emergency drop to get it to look like any other stock car. coilovers are coming to make it actually low in a couple of months

i'm pretty sure when you buy coilovers, the whole assembly is several inches shorter. honestly, the springs are over a foot long stock, you have to creep a spring compressor up, you need 3 of them, and you have to disassemble it twice. it is absolutely absurd
That sounds dumb. How do sports cars & super cars get away with not following those safety codes?

A) the mx5 is a sports car. being that it is still VERY small (1.5 inches longer, 1.5 inches wider, and shorter) than an na/nb, the car has to be high. what you may not realize is that most of those other sports cars are MUCH larger. for example, i was next to an 350z yesterday, and his window line was somewhere near my ear. the cars are still tiny
B) the mx5 is a real sports car. ass.

they sit higher than you think... a buddy told me i can make it into his parking garage if i set higher than a vette cause theres one in his parking garage, well long story short my frame rails are really mangled up now so the vettes sit higher than you think
have the same issue at a local car wash, was told only car they havent been able to wash is a local's vette, and well... you can now add mine to that list... lol

But you're lowered past stock... That vette is on stock suspension I would bet, & probably has 1/2" more clearance...

GT-R is 5" taller than an NC
ZR1 is 0.3" shorter than an NC.
