new member of the mazda family

just want to say i am a new member of the mazda family picked-up a 2010 cx-9 touring black w/ black leather, sunroof , bose stereo , power liftgate package and awd. so far i really like it. i`m a mustang and ford man so this is a leap of sorts for me. main reason for getting it is i am expecting my first child in september and needed a family car that is safe. i don`t think a mustang with a car seat would be safe or look good. look foward to the winter driving as i work when it snows so it should also be better than driving the stang in the snow as well. till next time catch ya later.........

i`m a mustang and ford man so this is a leap of sorts for me.

My other car is a 2008 Mustang GT, so I know where you are coming from. Mazda was a manufacturer that my folks never looked at, so we took the leap as well.

But I liked when I was checking over the engine in the CX-9 and the serpantine belt had motorcraft written on it. Seems that the engine is from Ford anyways, so you didn't stray too far from the fold

My wife loved the color of the mustang so much (silver mist) that she wanted the CX-9 in silver as well. When I parked them side by side, the color is almost the same.

The mustang is usually the weekend car, but we may be using the CX-9 more on the weekends

thanks guys looking to spruce it up a little i gotta see what i can find online........tippin if they had sonic blue which the stang is i would have been all over it...wife really liked the black cherry color not sure of the name but they stopped making the 9 in that color ohh well black looks nice and is a classy color...
