fmic + hks ssqv v2 and you will love the turkey... add in a DP and you'll waste all your gas in one sitting
 
I'm running a dual setup stock bpv and HKS SSQV on Cold pipe and my MAF is still running in line with my Injen CAI and I hav NO Turkey. So I don't agree with you saying that running a dual set up won't kill the turkey.

Were you having any stalling issues when you were running this setup? I'm running the same and I almost stall at every stop light. I'm still waiting for my MAF relocate kit to come in and I'm afraid to drive it how it is. Not sure if it'll hurt the car with how rich it's running.

I'll be cutting into my cold pipe when the kit comes in to relocate the MAF and hopefully be putting a 1" nipple on the CAI to recirc the BOV. Krayzie suggested this setup.

Anyone have any idea why I would have lost a lb of boost when I set up this dual setup?
 
All you guys relocating your mafs... Run vta, get an HKS EIDS and be done with it. Before I had the haltech I ran with a pre-turbo maf and vented to atmosphere. Stalled all the time, then I installed the eids and it was fixed.
 
If you want to get rid of turkey, and you don't want to relocate, there's only one way to do it. You have to built a new intake system, or modify the one you're using now.

1) Weld the bypass valve as close to the throttle body as possible.
2) Weld a piece of 1" pipe to the pipe that's in between the MAF and the turbo
3) Run a 1" tube from the bypass valve to that pipe piece

That's how the bypass system was set up on the turbo kit installed on my 2003 Lancer OZ, no turkey, sounded great, worked great.

So then what do I do with the $85 relocate kit I just bought? Hmmm? Not upset at anyone but myself. Everyone has different opinions of how to do it best. I am caught in the middle not knowing what to do.
