More to come.... Very far from Finished........BTW I still dont know what the **** is going on with my Pyrometer Gauge, When i turn the car on or the lights the needle goes all the way to the max, i cant figure it out whats going on, I might have to take it to the shop to get it inspected and fixed, but thats only after i get tomorrow my new set of Slim Ballast for my HID Foglights and bumper fix...

the workup i did was to keep the FMIC as minimally invasive as possible...

I totally agree FMIC is the way to go, i dont find anything invasive personally, but for some (warranty or other reasons), the SMIC is alot easier and anything is better than the stock heatbox. :)

I dont know what gauge you have but does it still peg if you unplug the EGT probe? if it still pegs it might be the gauge, if it stays at 0 then its might be the sender (EGT probe).

I have Autometer C2 Pyrometer Gauge, 0-1600 F, It was working fine and all of the sudden the gauge bounces back and forward, when the car is on and or lights are on it goes all the way to 1600

then it may be giving you an accurate reading... or you may have a loose connection. hard to tell site unseen.

It cannot be an accurate reading, once i turn the ignition key on, s*** goes to 1600 and or as soon as you turn the lights on. the funny thing is i havent touch anything related to it, it just started to do that after i did the vac lines replacement...

Damn MSPs....... When you fix something some other s*** gets ****** up for no logical reason... Shes lucky im in love with her !!!! lol lol If not......

what fmic is that? HUGE.

looks great man. really clean.

possibly knocked a wire loose causing a bad ground?

who knows what his tune looks like right now....

Cmon man.. car being sitting in my garage for like a week, and when i turn the key on s*** goes to 1600 all of the sudden.. What does the tune have to do with that. If my Exhaust temps gets from cold to 1600 in seconds then i have a mayor ass problem... which is not the case...

how about you keep your questions to a single thread so you don't get multiple sets of recommendations based on partial information.

How about i already did posted same in my own thread and nobody has posted yet ???? i wanted to share what i did to my MSP and ask others what could it be...

autometer should show 0 with the egt unplugged. Mine do, they are nexus but it should still be no voltage since the probe is unplugged. it shouldnt be 1600 at idle, ever, unless your car is on fire.

try what i said, at least it will get you in some direction.

if i unplug the rear plug gauge does not go to 0, if i turn the ign key on and off it will like reset and go to 0... s*** that little issue is driving me insane.. tomorrow i will do the ground test..

btw none of my Autometer C2 gauges goes back to 0 only boost cause is mechanical, the rest stays where ever they are when you shut down, onces you turn the key on again they to 0 and go back to where they should when car is on..

yea, sorry, i meant start it without the sender plugged in (behind the gauge). it should read 0. if it does, its something to do with the wiring or the sender itself. since the probe is sealed it will be hard to test if its showing the proper voltage.

edit for your edit: as i remember they hold the last known reading till you turn it on again, but without a sender it should read 0 since its now seeing 0 voltage. However, even if it doesnt, if you have it unplugged it still shouldnt peg since theres no reference voltage. if it pegs without the probe in, its the gauge. if it doesnt, its the sender or wiring(might be ground, make sure it has its own ground, senders are fickle likje that).

Did some mt. runs today with NotYellow. His ms3 is freakin fast. I need to up the boost soon my s*** is barely keeping up. lol. Also, during our fun i found out two bolts that connect the manifold-to-turbo fell off. Now when i give it gas my car sounds like a duck crying. lol. I gotta remove the turbo/manifold tomorrow and replace those bolts.

Wow 2 out of 4? That's not good. Get those back on there ASAP you don't want to damage the manifold or have your turbo fall off. LOL I can only imagine how loud that'd be. Sorry...
