Hi all, this is my first post and I apologize that it is somewhat negative. I'm just wondering if anyone has solved the lack of legroom problem in the Mazda 5. I bought one and it is wonderful for me, but my husband just looks cramped in it and I feel like if we could just get the seat to move a few inches back that he would be fine. Is there any after market seat track extensions that would work or can a mechanic re install the tracks a few inches back? I bought the car without him and brought it home all excited and when he got in my heart just sank! Any suggestions would be welcome.

how tall is he? the seat bottom can lower, as well as move back and reclines - AND the steering wheel telescopes to give more room.

He's 6'3" and his knees kind of rest on the dash and he says he can't get his legs under it because the dash goes down so low. Not sure if that's called the dash or what . . .

if the seat is all the way back and all the way lowered, i dont what to say.

Lowering the seat definitely helped, but I can't lower the seat on the passenger side. This means he's going to have a very good excuse to be the driver all the time! (unamused)
