Ok dude this is how you do it. fpr vac line goes to the fpr solenoid and then the vac line from the fpr solenoid goes to the mani. the map sensor vac line goes to the mani, your vtcs and vics sensors get plugged in but the vac ports get left open. Also your purge solenoid vac line goes to the mani. I shouldn't have to tell you to hook up your boost gauge, bov, and wga that's obvious.....

thanks. oddly enough, the FPR solenoid is the one i'm not too sure about.

FPR and Purge Solenoids

How are you guys securing your FPR and Purge solenoids? Just letting them dangle in the engine bay? Superglue them to the top of the manifold? I'd like to have something aesthetically pleasing, this poor abused beast needs all the help it can get. (and no, I wasn't the abuser)

they're all pretty much using zip ties.. but would you do me a favor? take a pic of that fpr solenoid?

look back a page and you'll see the fpr solenoid in one of my pictures and to answer your question yea my purge solenoid and fpr solenoid are just resting in the engine bay. That are somewhat secured though they don't move at all. My fpr solenoid sits underneath my tb coolant nipple

Solenoid Pics

Here's my FPR and Purge solenoid pics. They're not hooked up yet, so it's probably not what you're looking for. I can take a pic of my turbo'd P5 if you're looking for reference photos.

Got mike 2225's up and running the other day. We had to use a 626 fuel rail and then weld on different brackets. Fun.

For all you guys struggling ewith the FPR solenoid, it's not required. Leave it pulgged in so you don't get a CEL, and run the vacuum line right from the manifold to the FPR itself. It's for emissions purposes, and won't harm anything being out of the loop. Brian MP5T and I ran like that for years on the stock ECU, no problems.

good to know!

thanks for everyones help. i'll have this car up and running well, in no time

dino-awesome man.

I just wanted to let you all know that this manifold rocks. It really improves the drivability of the car and the power band. Not to mention my car pulls harder than my bros srt on 15psi and im only running like 9psi.......
