does it matter brand wise or what not about head gaskets?. can i do this myself or better to have a shop handle it
new lip..soon to be wrapped in CF
that 3m stuff? :/
i have 133000 miles, at 115 i changed the timing belt new water pump already as well and new valve cover gasket.. it was just last week that i looked into the over flow coolant tank and noticed oil was mixed in and was told my head gaskets are shot.... plus about a month ago i did mess with the boost setting and accidently spiked up to 15lbs then down to 12 lol... ops.
according to tracking info, my HIDs finally made from Cali to Fort Worth, TX. They will be here tomorrow!!
I have the bi xenon ones, id never go back to stock. I love em. I love that their plug n play too so i can pass inspection lol.
what color temp you get?
I got 8000K for now just because I love the blue that they give off. That is what got me attracted to HIDs to begin with is the blue light. But, if they are not what I expect out of them, I'll switch to a brighter light, maybe 6000K. If I like them, I may get them for my fogs too, but Im debating because I don't what to blind oncoming traffic too much with fogs..lol
The fogs shouldn't blind people any worse than your lo-beams. If you have them aimed properly.
this is why the vast majority of H4 HID kits have what are called casper shields, which block light from exiting the bottom of the reflector. directing the light only through the top reduces glare significantly as that light is then not reflected up at other drivers.
