What have you done to your P5 today?

Actually, I'm going with the JDM cams which are completely plug and play drop in. You actually get 17 whp with no tuning required, that's what's so great about them.

Also, they are really cheap. Less than $380 shipped from Corksport for the intake and exhaust cam.

Let me know how you like these. I am thinking about picking them up down the road.

I don't mean to do it intentionally. I'm actually pretty balanced now and plan on keeping it this way for awhile.

Will do. I really want to get a before/after dyno comparison too.

Does it stick out like the auction shows or is it flush? That was the only thing that worried me.

And how does it sound? I'm a big fan of JIC exhausts, I'm just curious as to how it sounds on our car.

installed triple gauge pod

put my megan racing catback back on, my car is WAY quieter then open midpipe now lol this is going to be an awesome 3hr trip back to my apartment

also a question, whenever i rev my car, it sounds like it misses at first and then revs normal, it wasnt warmed up all the way (bad i know) but it happened the other day while driving too and its annoying...could this be the coils? i dont think ive ever replaced the coils so i may run to advanced tomm to pick up some new ones just in case

Well today I went to autozone to check out my battery. Terminals were REALLY badly corroded. He hooked up the machine and said that the battery wasn't getting charged so maybe my alternator is going bad. He said before I buy anything, to clean the terminals up real nice. Bought the kit, cleaned them up like new and took it back to autozone later on. The guy checked the alternator this time and it checked out fine. WHEW what a relief. Checks the battery, and it's shot. I bought a new duralast gold and popped it in myself. Pick up the old one to bring it inside for the core and it leaks a bit of acid on my skin. I get it off quickly.

I spent a bit of time fixing my stupid AC control too. It stopped working on 2 and 3 last summer and now it stopped working on 4. I tore the harness apart and just soldered the wires to the connectors. Also melted the harness to the actual unit so it was making a good connection. All 4 work flawlessly too. Good thing because today it was humid as all hell and ac felt amazing.

Also sold my manual boost controller that's been uselessly chilling on my car. Gotta get it boxed up tomorrow and shipped Monday.

About to take pictures of a couple of things for sale as well :D

All in all a very productive day.

Stick it in the trunk lol

Im still working on the door cards. Also cleaned the inside and all I have to do is dive it a nice wash

i have a roof rack that i never use, but im moving in the next few months and may need it for some stuff. if you are still looking for one in august let me know

I've been carting my OEM roof rack around since I bought the car and I've moved 3 times. It's always just been chillin in the garage. I could sell it and ship it to you if you want it, Matt. I'll double check I've got all the bolts and such. PM if you want it, no pressure.

drove it, and WOW
my exhaust note is almost non existent lol man i love my car again, it drives good and now that everything inside the cabin is quiet, i can hear my turbo and it sounds so sickkkk

i guess since i fixed all the boost leaks it spools alot faster because my HKS blows off extremely loud even at only 3k, also the hesitation or w/e that was that i had yesterday is completely gone, i guess it was because i didnt warm up the car long enough

Well the factory ones are friggin outrageous. Your best bet is to check out REI, or a local bike shop.. What about the ones that just hang over the back? Another cheaper option would be to have a hitch installed and use a hitch mounted carrier..

I hate hitches.

Also, I found a local one for $75, I just have to meet him half way from Austin.

Lewis, how much would you want for it?

I was going to say $75 plus shipping. I know they usually go for $100 plus shipping on here. That local one is probably your best bet as shipping might be expensive because they are so bloody long.
