I hit 400+ a few times in my P5. I am lucky to get 350 these days in the MS6.

hit just over 400 last time I drove to NYC and back

if i may ask how much is that ferry to ride on everytime you need to get accross that water.. i ask because id do it just for the pictures i could get while the car was on the ferry.. be pretty cool to do!!!

I took a boat load of pics. (lol) Then I thought to myself....damn...wish it was my car.

I believe it was only a few bucks. However we were very lucky to be the only car. 90% of the time there's more than one and people walking around it. The ride takes only a few minutes as well so I had to work fast taking pics.

by the way, my 320 was still with a gallon or more left in the tank...so 360+ is not out of the question

I took a 30k pay cut last year and then another 3% 2 months later, and havent gotten it back! No raise from my company is almost 2 years just a pay cut to work a reg job and then they take another 3% and raise our insurance premiums.

30k tony? OMW! i took at -40% hit to take this job (which i've had for 15 yrs now) i was out of work for 6 months (had a 6 months severance package which was nice!) started at this company the week after the severance ran out....it took almost 6 yrs to get that 40% back...

Yeah 30k! I was making about 80 on average as a conductor, im making 48 so a little over 30 a year, but Im home more, no more on call, And better opportunity to advance in management. If I were to get OT which salary we dont, but when we go hourly THen It'll be back up to around 65-70!

On call today and then on my way to FL for a few days, then off to OH for the races. Yay! Hopefully, the weather cooperates and I can drive most of the trip top down.

No traffic on my way to work today but I encountered three instances of stupidity.

1) Green light at a 4 way intersection. I'm going 40 but have to come to a complete stop. The car in front of me stopped to let not one but two cars turn in front of him. Usually people do this when the light first turns green, not after it has been green for a while. I intentionally stopped right on his ass and honked. If he hadn't done that I could have just cruised through the intersection. The guy turned right immediately after the intersection into a DDs.

2) Car coming the opposite direction starts to turn in front of me. Would have made it except he freaked out when a truck pulled up on the road he was turning onto. He came to a complete stop right in front of me blocking my lane. I honked and drove around him on the left because no other cars were coming.

3) Car turning left in front of me decides at the last minute that he wants to let a school bus pull out of the street he is turning onto. Sorry, I've had enough. i drive around him on the right so I can stay in front of the school bus. Several people behind me agreed with my decision and followed suit.
