What have you done to your MS3 today?

:) you drive it and see it in person, you know what matches it best. I just feel like to bring out the roof, it needs something more. But the car is so clean, so it don't really matter. I would be breaking my neck to look at it if it passed me going down the road :)

Gosh I wished I could go, but that's quite a drive for me...I live in Virginia :). One of these days, I am going to make it to one of these big meets after I fully have the car together. Better get some good piktars!

Laraw, the car is too sexy for words in it's present state. DON'T CHANGE A THING!

-blush- Thank you. :)

Aw, no problem! There are some folks driving from Ohio. O_O

I'd love to get some nice shots of your car sometime!

Me toooo!!! These wheels seriously put your eyes out in person, but I don't have a camera to capture this. You would not believe the people that turn all the way around in their cars everytime I drive by or the kids on the sidewalks about wrecking their bikes to see my car. Sadly, I don't have the techniques or the camera to truly capture this...ugh. I need to make a big meet.

oil change, at 29k miles. I will pass the 30k maintenance other then just maybe have my brakes looked at and change the tran fluid.

and also btw laraw the car does look amazing, every time I see your car, I'm glad I have a CWP as well.

Greying out my badges today... Have them all removed... waiting for primer to dry. Leaving off the mazdaspeed 3 and just putting back the front and rear "M". Going for a subtle grey satin finish rather than black. Want some contrast.

Stopped by mazda to check on the status of my car.
ACT clutch is installed and tranny is sitting on the bench awaiting parts.

I'm getting excited.

Mounted some new shoes (Hankook V12s) and I have to say that these sidewalls are really soft. I've never felt so much body lean in my car in some of the turns around my house and I can see the sidewall move if I grip the outter tread and pull. Suffice it to say, they aren't very confidence inspiring. However, they inexplicably grip (like the C&D article mentioned). Shop put 36 psi all around.

i usually keep my tires around 36-38 psi. seems to maintain a stiff enough feeling in most tires. what size are your hankooks?

215/45/18. I specifically got the stock size because I did not want the sidewall height that comes with 225/45 and 225/40 seems to be ill-advised for 7" rims.

It's something I can certainly deal with, I just have to get used to it.

Today I installed the PG Shifter Weight, and I must say it makes shifting a little more smoother for just 25 bucks. Great Item!!

I was surprised too! Great mod for the price. Now I need a little bit heavier shift knob and it'll just flow into gear even better.

I am ordering the PG short shifter and turbo inlet, let me know if you find a nice knob (reasonably priced ofcourse).

That's the problem....hard to find one decently priced.

On a side note....tore the intake components apart (CAI and TIP) and reinstalled them to make sure all the couplers, clamps, and hoses were nice and tight. Then took it for a test drive.....low and behold, the car still sputtered lightly in 3rd and 4th. (argh) I'm thinking it could be the spark plugs, so I'm going to check them out and probably order new ones since I'm running bad bosch ones from autozone anyway.
