Home Depot gives military discount too. I can't remember if it's 10% or 15%.

FWIW I've driven without a front plate in MA and NH for a number of years, cars, and a few traffic stops but not having a front plate has never been an issue.

Don't listen to me, I have no idea what I'm talking about. My win streak has come to an end. Got a ticket this morning for no front plate. $155. (toilet) Tow plate now on order.

I did! One pulled out in front of me about a mile from the track. The car in front of the statey was so parinoid they did 35 mph for half of my ride home. It was PAINFUL!

As I was leaving LRP there was a LRP employee standing at the bridge that goes over the track and he stopped me and warned me that there was a cop sitting down the road.

Was pretty nice of him...because I definitely would have been hauling ass in that particular section of road.

That was the only cop I saw

365/7? I am pretty sure that this was a Memorial Day special but could be wrong. They had signs plastered at every register.

I picked up two 4x8 sheets of pressure treated plywood, an a-frame stand (for our swing), two bushes, two planters, bag of potting soil, new shovel (old one broke), new cordless drill (my previous drill's batteries decided that after 12yrs they were not going to hold a charge), a ceiling fan and light for my neighbor and some stepping stones.

yeah saw one on Monday sitting there when I was leaving. I NEVER speed to or from the track (ok except when Josh was behind me yesterday) because I know several stateys in the area (neighbors) and they'll give you a ton of s*** if you've been drinking all weekend at the track.

A lot of places have military or emergency services discounts but don't necessarily promote them all year-round. It could've been that they were trying to make extra promotions for the day since most places are closed.

Wow.... you didn't fit all that in the P5 did you????

Not all of it....some went on the roof. I thought for sure the plywood would slide in on an angle...(also it was cut to 4x6) I was wrong. So the antenna was screwed off and the plywood was laid on top of the rails. I had to run back in and buy clothesline as I had nothing to tie it down with in the car. Double fail! lol

Good to know and Thanks! This is the first I have seen the signs displayed so going to agree with Ash that they were promoting it heavy over the weekend. It will be interesting to see if the signs are gone the next time I go back.

(five-0)

I almost got nabbed on the pike. The big downhill (the one that has the truck run-off ramp) I was doing about 80 to get around some idiot that had been cruising at 65 next to another idiot going 65. Once I got around I set the cruise at 72 and moved over to the right lane. Just after the truck run-off a trooper was sitting in the breakdown lane. He grabbed the guy behind me that was gaining on me at probably 80-85. I feel bad for him because he was probably just as frustrated as I was with the people blocking both lanes....but not really.
