What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

so I was thinking about tinting my taillights and I wanted to know how those of you who have done this, did it. Are you guys using overlays like what bluebatmobile used to sell for the Proteges or are you using some sort of spray?

most people now do VHT Nightshade.. qwik6 did it.. his came out badass

remove taillights, sand down light with a very light grit paper, spray, dry, reinstall? Any clear coating?

Took off front window tint due to mandatory police intervention. Sucks.

I ordered my Ectsa ASXs today. Plan on doing a wheel swap and pulling the Blizzaks off the other wheels, then selling my spare set of wheels and winter tires here soon. I may also pull the sharkfin off and even the intake if I really feel like it. I'm enjoying the car right now as is, but I miss what it was capable of before.

No fine, just take it off. Only spent $20 to do it at the place I installed it. I'll try to get a doctor's note and try again with the same tint or less dark.

see this is why i havent done tint yet.. RI always changes its stupid tint laws, i know id be fine in town but if i go to say smithfeild, they always bust balls and pull ur ass over for stupid s*** (even if your legal) so i havent done it..

You dont have to sand. Just clean with alcohol then spray away. Keep coats light. No clear coat needed.

Block, those are great wheels. HRE's are really classy, and you are definitely the first I've seen on a 6. Any idea how much they weigh? Just curious.

Block, those are great wheels. HRE's are really classy, and you are definitely the first I've seen on a 6. Any idea how much they weigh? Just curious.

If I'm remembering right, some of the guys on E46Fanatics that have them (19's) are saying they weigh around 25lbs each. Since his are 18's I would guess a little bit less.

lol i made a list, i want to do pulleys too but im not sure i can have them made just yet, once the motors out and i have a look at them ill know more..

OEM's are 24, so it's not THAT heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if his 18's are a bit lighter than that.

I decided to keep my car too. Fast is fun but its not everything. I would rather have a speed 6 than an evo or sti that I see every 2 minutes. If it blows though then im going evo .

YAY!!! i 100% agree... im going Audi like snooky did after my MS6 blows up.
but i baby my car, so it'll prolly hit 200k miles before it goes zoom zoom boom.

so i finally put on my 2011 tags after months of sitting in my glove compartment.
yall shoulda seen the OCD cleaning that took place simply from the minimal filth behind the license plate & tinted cover.

Next big mods, next month after tracking... Corksport Inlet and (hopefully) magnaflow CBE.
Im already SO excited for those!!
