What have you done to your P5 today?

i put my stock catback back on until i can fix up the magnaflow. sounds much better to have a non leaking exhaust. and non-rattling (bad resonator maybe)
 
Just got back a half hour ago from Phen and Evan's house (SATimko and Lewis with some number).

Put on all new rotors and pads and replaced the one seized caliper in the rear. Turns out that was the reason for my steering wheel vibration. Now it drives sooooo smooth.

Also rolled the fenders in preparation for the coilovers and the new 215/40-17 tires I'll be getting soon. Trying to figure out whether I wanna go with Kuhmo ASX's or BFGoodrich Gforces. The Gforces end up being 50 bucks more for all 4. Are they worth it?

Also getting ready to stop the rust in its tracks (hopefully) with the POR-15 kit that I got.

All together a busy few weeks.
 
i bought mine 2 days ago... so happy already. 2002 41000 miles. 9 grand with a 2 year warranty. automatic tho =/ but i dont mind cause i sit in traffic everyday lol ill have pics up later today
 
ive decided to get myself a motorcycle soon to take some mileage off of the p5. and suggestions? not looking to spend a lot of money, around $1000. not looking for much over a 250cc, as long as i can cruise on the highway im happy

It very well could be your resonator. Of course, check all your heat shields first and make sure nothing is touching it. Then have a friend throttle it up to the rpms you can get a constant rattle from it, and listen to were it's coming from.

My GReddy cat-back had a rattling resonator and it drove me absolutely bonkers. I replaced my exhaust with a Corksport and while I had the GReddy off I couldn't physically see anything loose in the resonator, but no more rattle. Now it's just rediculously loud though...

yeah its definitely the resonator. stock exhaust is back on and its whisper quiet. Im going to weld up the leak in the magnaflow soon (ill put up pics of the leak tonight), maybe thatll be the issue. If it still rattles, im going to go to muffler shop and have them make me up a midpipe to use without a resonator so i can still use the magnaflow muffler.
 
Im currently looking for a 5 point harness for the next autox season coming up. Other than that Im at work and cant work on the P5. =/
 
my oil pressure and wideband stopped working yesterday, dam u wiring!!! i need to pull the radio harness and solder all the gauge connections and make some new grounds

i hate wiring, anybody else want to do it for me? :D

Ducati Monster.... they range from $4k-$20k. I freakin love this bike

Funny cause both my wideband and oil pressure have been down and out for a few months now.

Make sure the wideband plastic connector isn't melted to the engine. Mine was. Not fun.
