Well changed the u-joints in the truck tonight. Going to be changing the valve cover gasket on Saturday most likely. Also when I was under there I confirmed that it was already lifted, not too shabby!

nice pics ash...used to work on the charles, 55 cambridge pkwy...
guess who's on the list?????
top 10 places for speeding tickets
http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/autos_content_landing_pages/1419/top-10-states-for-speeding-tickets/

As far as average mph over the speed limit on highways, I'd say New Jersey drivers have us beat, unless there is jersey shore traffic on the turnpike in which case you go from 50 to 0 and back to 50 in the course of 1 mile.

New York not making the list makes sense. On my trips back and forth to Ithaca I would have to remember that 10 over the limit is ok in Mass but 5 over the limit is all you can do in NY. I made this observation not by getting tickets, but instead by watching how many people pass me and how many people I pass. Someone should pass you at least every 5-10 minutes, they are your mark. They will get pulled over instead of you. If you're the only one on the highway and you're going 10mph faster than anyone else, a bored cop will nab you just for the hell of it.

Now Vermont must fall under the "busiest traffic police" scenario. How else could the state with the lowest population still make the list? Vermont's population is ~600K while Massachusetts is ~6M. Odds are definitely against you in Vermont since it is even ranked higher on the list.

All I can think about with Vermont State Police is Super Troopers

Littering and......littering and.....littering and......

I didn't feel it necessary to create an "I finally did it" thread.. But I finally did it after almost 4 years of home ownership.

I finally won't have to spend 4 hours mowing my lawn.

Morning all.

I typically travel a good chunk of 90 in MA and NY. I usually set the cruise to 72-74. Never been pulled over, even going thru speed traps.

Nice tractor.

Morning all!!! One day closer to Friday! Last night was my last physical class for the semester, next week is online then I get a take home test.. woot!!

^^ morning, I have to hand in my last essay today, then I still have to do 20 hours logged for a physical class (it's kind of an out of school class thing, just so I can get the 1 credit requirement for grad. it's weird) but luckily I don't have many finals for once! then again , I did have a crap load of essays this semester.

i have traveled back and forth to ra-cha-cha TONS of times and my lesson learned over the years is that I set my cruise control at 71 on the thruway...cops up there are assholes and in some areas there is one sitting at multiple consecutive "no-u-turn" thingies.....I have driven on lots of roads out west with higher speed limits and there is no reason why the thru way shouldnt be marked a 70/75 zone.

Man im having a hectic few days... Took yesterday off for some appointments.. one at 9am.. and one at 2pm.. in between those had to have a couple R-Comps swapped out since they were coreded. after my 2pm appt. went to Marcs and tryed installing some 6 point harnesses which failed, ill need an impact gun for that... blew a cooling fan fuse on the mass pike which left me stranded for about an hour while my car stopped overheating. finally got home at around 9:15pm and rested until bed

Today im at work, which is busier than usual, leaving here and going striaght to Middletown, CT... picking up a friend and carpooling to his parents place where all his tools are... welding some support brackets on for my tow hitch and wiring it up for tail lights.. hooking a tire trailer up to it and driving home, loading my R-Comps onto the trailer, filling the toolbox with tools, straping on some spare tires incase any blow out and going to bed

Fri i go to work WITH the trailer, leave from there and go to CT.. make a very important pickup there and drive out to Carlisle, PA for 2 days of drifting and AutoX...
