LOL Maybe she doesn't know what she's running...LOL or maybe she has had diffrent set-ups maybe currently on espelirs I don't know.

shes on coils now, but I believe she's had a couple different setups. Also, from what I know the spool rears are junk, so it may be a mixed set. I run the spool fronts with stock rears and about 100lbs in the trunk... evens everything out quite nicely. LOL

i have the eibach 1.4 1.8 and the back doesnt look much lower than when i had stock on it. front looks perfect though, but wish the back was a tad lower.

The sportlines are the choice springs but out of production and hard to find.

Damn it, my source for the Espelir springs crapped out on me. Couldn't come through.
Looks like i may have to go H&R.

how come youre not considering tein s techs? since you're changing the struts you wont have to worry about getting the rake.

That's a good question. I considered them, but I'm a little nervous because all the Tein S-Techs I see are for Protege models excluding MP3 03+. Not sure what to make of that.

all the struts are interchangeable but they don't advertise for the MSP because of the resulting rake on OEM struts

I ran Progress springs on Tokico Illumina struts and loved the combination. But they definitely lowered my car more than 1.5" -- I'd say it was more like a good 2" all around.

Please note, I had 18" wheels with 35 series tires, so OEM rubber on the Racing Harts won't look the same. Obviously.

I loved the setup, though .. I preferred the Progress over Tein S-Techs (which I ran previously) because I hate the raked look.

Which struts did you have when you were on the Tein S-Techs?

Running with Eibach Pros, stock struts, and 10mm spacers here. I prefer the slight rake but that's MHO. The tires are Michelin 205/45/17 so the wheel/fender gap is more slightly pronounced. I'm sure OEM 215 will fill that gap..

Stockers. Which made the raked look THAT much worse. It made me crazy, I kept getting the urge to kill people just so I could throw their bodies in the trunk and weigh the back end down.

Looks like suspension work is going to have to wait a bit.

My MSP threw a CEL today, so I've got to find out what the fudge went wrong now, before I go spending $$$ on suspension upgrades. I'll keep y'all posted.

See, I have a heavy sub box and sound deadened trunk so as to reduce my tendency for homicidal rage. and now you all know why.
