xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

i like how u didn't show the front end on the vid. its nothing to be embarrassed about :D

lol, bumper goes back on tomorrow.

Just got back from aiming the lights, while not 100% perfect, they look GREAT. I feel like I'm blinding people but when I get out and look at the car, all you see is two spots of light. lol. Gonna take some time to get use to.

Question, if the car doesn't pull or hardly pulls left or right, is an alignment still needed?

I ask cause the front hubs had to be detached on both sides so by rule of thumb, I'm suppose to get an alignment however the car doesn't really pull either way. The steering however does feel a bit loose or sloopy.

I guess I should just pay the $40 an stfu. lol.

your toe could be way out but as long as its out evenly, it wouldn't pull.

The answer to your question: maybe. but getting it aligned is the only way you'll know.

I'll just get an alignment, I dont wanna wear into my new tires wrong because I was trying to be cheap.

Ya, pretty much... It may not be killing your tires, but it's for the best... You're probably fine, but you don't know til you get it up on a machine.

A lot of places that do alignments will check the alignment to see if it's in spec for free for like 6 months (sometimes longer) after you get the alignment. If that applies to you, I would try that. If its out of spec, pay the $40.

Where do you get alignments for $40, anyways??? It's like $60-$70 here. I will be getting the 1 year unlimited alignment here when I get new wheels mounted.

Thats a front wheel only alignment, to do rear is another $40 so $80 for the whole car. I haven't touched the rear since I put the BCs on last year though so I'm only doing the front.

yeah, I put off getting aligned after the transmission swap and shot my pos nankangs to hell, don't wanna do that to the nittos.

I'm not too worried about the RE750s... but if I get the FDs mounted it'll be with something I care more about. I also need to rotate my upper strut mounts, as right now one of them is misaligned.

Thats not good, lol. You mean the dot in the corner is lined up wrong?

ya ...get an aligment.. after messing with my bc's i had absolutely no pull...but in 6 months.. bye bye brand new tires...

i got the lifetime alignment from firestone...and became friends with the guys there so they're cool and do whatever i want... i once got 5 alignments in four weeks...not bad for $160

work some majic... a ton of places didnt want to work on my car..just find some cool people...or bring your own blocks and see if they take you then...its alllll about talking to people...you can always offer them a smoke that usually works
