Engine bay shave?

Amazing work Rooster! After looking at your most recent pics, there are a few things I want to try to save on room!

Looks great. i will be doing this when I do my swap. I also figured out how to deleate the window bottle but retain functionality if you want help in that area. Looks clean as hell.

this looks great. have you emailed these pics to sam yet?

and you should go pick up some other color vac line for the crank vent, the yellow looks really out of place... maybe change the one blue elbow on your IC piping too.

seriously professional looking stuff though... really nice

yup I have a black vac line for the yellow one. i just really don't to hassle with taking it off. lol.

as for the blue elbow. i need to find a black one first.. all the local shops are trying to rip me off here. 150 bucks for an elbow!!!!

i'm thinking of cutting out the neck and just having the flap flush with the frame. some silver paint on the lid and it'll disappear, almost.

also thanku2 everyone else for comments.

HAHAHAHA. ebay amigo, they have some cheap ones on there. i think even autozone has some elbows...

yup, already working on it.. i still need better vac lines.. these vibrant ones don't hold up to hard bends. will be doing silicone ordering at some point.

I got a rear bottle out of a talon. It seems to be the ideal size to hide anywhere and it has a rubber spout that can bend any which way. I can post pics later if you are interested in this too. Might save some cutting.

Hopefully that shows the flexibility of the black rubber pieces. It also has a cap and then your fill hole will be 1.5" by.75". So very easy to hide up under the fender. Just what i plan on doing when I get on with my swap.

Must share. I did at least.

welp... currently, i have a plan. basically, what i'm doing is big time.

using a haltech sport 1000. that'll take down at least half of what i've got now(wires wise). i'll be doing a weld/jb weld on all unused holes. PROBABLY a brake tuck, but i'm not 100% on that yet as it's a huge ordeal.

as many of you know i'll be doing a twin charged setup. i'm going to use a fully ported stock manifold which will be ...trimmed..all the other s*** will be cut off that's not used.then i'll be using spray sound deadener in the engine bay, instead of paint.

im not brave enough to try either of those, just sarcasm. i think both are awesome and ive always been a fan of the directions you want to take your car.

i know this isnt the right thread for it, but are you doing twin turbo? sequential or parallel? or a turbo feeding a S/C? twincharging is a pretty generic term... last i knew you hadnt made a final decision on it.

just check my thread. i wasn't sure if it was sarcasm or dickness? lol.

anyways, centrifugal scion supercharger w/ a 2056 garrett turbocharger. and it will hopefully be the turbo feeding the supercharger as you mentioned.
