Did y'all see the 2010 double-lid design center console?

I would like to get that on my 2007 cx-9.

Actually, I have that feature, and if someone wants to dig around in the console while the vehicle is moving, the cover is in the driver's way. It was a great idea, but perhaps should have hinged from the front, out of everyone's way.

Are you saying that each of the doors can't be operated independently?

Each door can be opened separately.
I tried that at autoshow when I sat in a 2010.
However, I dislike the new face plate of the shifter. It seems to move quite a bit compared with my older one.
